This pharmacy is the worse. Even 1 of the Mgrs. stated they constantly gets complaints on their pharmacy. They NEVER follow thru on complaints and call back as they promise. My doctor called in a prescription after our 3pm appt. yesterday. I checked to see if it was ready because it was suppose to be applied while my husband slept that night. The response was that it would be ready after 7:30pm. They close at 7:30pm. So I requested an earlier time, instead, they added on 3 more hours!!! One of the pharmacist, Derek is super mean, and even 86 a neighbor that was trying to get medication for his dying mother, who has since passed away, no compassion. I know it's difficult to get workers but we run a corporation and employees with attitudes and no managers to follow thru is even worst for business!

Terry the store manager is exceptional in all aspects of her duties. She is definitely an asset to CVS/Longs. We shop at Longs several times a week and find Terry to be extremely pleasant and positive in nature. Terry is always very helpful in manner with employees as well as customers. Terry goes above and beyond in accommodating customers as well as her staff. She is so helpful and welcoming in general to everyone that she comes in contact with. A+

I went there and saw a rude pharmacist who was talking rudely and cold when i was asked about the medical information.I never met like that kind of pharmacist.I will not be there again. And i was so dizzy and tired as a patient, but she was treated me too badly.I think she needs to be a more warm and treat person kindly because we don’t know about the medication like her.But that place is so kind and caring about the people except her…

The person working at the pharmacy counter last night 12-30-2022 at about 8:00 was really terrific. No big thing, just regular transaction but with aloha, means the world these days. Mahalo nui.

Manager was correcting cashier in front of a waiting customer. When I asked if the cashier was available, manger rudely stated, “I am still talking with him.” She showed poor customer service and poor managerial skills.

Historically the pharmacy at this store has not been a favorite place to visit: service has been curt, even surly at times. But things have changed: when my wife came home yesterday after picking up some prescriptions she noticed that she had been charged $214 for a single bottle of 90 tabs of a medicine that she's had refilled many times before. When she brought the bottle back to the pharmacy today John N told her that they cannot take back anything that's already been dispensed. But John went the extra mile and rechecked my wife's insurance and, without throwing any of his colleagues under the bus, told her that the Medicare charge should actually have been only $1.34. Her card was credited $212. She's happy, I'm happy. Bottom line: ask for John.

In the area so I dropped to get a couple of items. In the cosmetics area I was approaced by a friendly worker and asked if I needed help finding something. I had just picked up what I was looking for. She asked if I had any questions about the item. That's good customer service.

I love shopping at CVS. They are always a go to, have all the things you need for everyday and they are all around. The associates are always helpful, except today. I was looking for an item that is always in the dry good items in the CVS that is near to my home. So today at a different CVS, I could not find it. I asked an associate very nicely if they had the item, his response to me was. "It's by the juice, DID YOU LOOK " Of course I looked. Thats why I'm asking, I can't find it! I'm 50 plus years old. Don't talk to me like your child. You know who you are and so does your manager. So so sorry, I bothered you at work.

This Longs drugs pharmacy in .another shopping center is the only one I go to now. There aren't to many places that carry my medications and I live way out in Kapolei. But once the pharmacist and the staff gets to know you and you come every month like clock work they make sure they have your medications in stock. I go shopping while I wait for my perscriptions and when its ready they just call me on the loud speaker. They will text you or call you on your phone if you want the privacy. I like the service the only problem for me is how far it is.

I particularly dislike dismissive, unfriendly attitudes from customer service employees. I've run into a few at this location and really wish there was a way to report it to someone who cares. Just asking simple product pricing related questions l was faced with an obviously couldn't be bothered, angry attitude. And by the looks of many other reviews, it's obvious that I'm not alone.

This review is solely on the pharmacy, which has gone downhill. I've been working on another Island, and asked my doctor for a refill on my nose sprays. Long story short, my doctor put in the refill request to Manoa Longs Pharmacy, and a couple of days later I received a text message saying that my prescriptions are ready for pickup. I went to the pharmacy yesterday to pick up my prescriptions, and to my surprise, only one of them was ready for pickup. I asked the cashier why my other prescription wasn't ready and she said that they need the doctor to provide directions on the dosage; keep in mind that this is a refill that never changed and I had no problem refilling it prior. She said that they've been trying to get ahold of the doctors office to find out the dosage; I find this hard to believe since I spoke to my doctor on a weekday and this is days later. Today, I called my doctors office and they told me that the pharmacy has NOT reached out for them regarding my prescription; she also said that she would call them to find out what's going on. This is not the first time that Manoa Longs Pharmacy did this- my husband also experienced this with his medication. If you work at a pharmacy and people depend on your service for their medication, the LEAST you can do is do your job and contact the doctors office like you say. Or at least contact the patient and say that you've been having a hard time reaching the doctor and need additional information to fill the prescription- DON'T text the person saying that their prescription is ready for pickup and then say some bogus line "Oh, we need instructions from your doctor and couldn't get in touch with the office".

Longs Manoa Pharmacy: Sometimes when the pharmacy answers you get someone who is very rude and downright mean. Not everyone at the pharmacy is mean, some of them are very nice and helpful. It just depends who answers the phone.
