HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommended. Took my 2006 Tacoma in because I was getting very minimal air in my cab. When I got there, Simon explained to me that it will take approximately 1to1-1/2 hour to diagnose the problem. Got a call back 1-1/4 hour and they explained the diagnosis in detail. All I needed was coolant. I will be taking in my 2011, 4 Runner for servicing. Mahalo to Cool Tech.

Simon and his colleague are so nice and professional. Simon was able to give me same day appt to assess my car. He was able to get my A/C to cool again!! He explained everything to me clearly. My car is a 2003 and he doesn't want me to spend money, then something else goes wrong on the car and the part is no longer replaceable. I felt very confident that I trust his professional opinion and general concern. My first time going to this shop, but definitely not the last if I need work done again. I'll recommend it to all I know.

Best place to get your AC done. Simon did my diagnostic for free and found out my evaporator core needed changing. My car was a Toyota 4Runner so if you know the whole dashboard has to come off, Simon quoted me $2000 which included the diagnostic. . So I would need to leave my car for a couple of days so I needed to rent a car. So I normally rent my cars from Enterprise which has an office right down the street from the shop. So I mentioned to Simon and he said if we mention his business we get a discount. I had a $100 discount on my rental car which was awesome and d a blessing. The price came out half. My car was done in a day and a half. I was thrilled that Simon gave me a discount of $100 of my bill which was unexpected. Was a great experience I’m so glad I went them. Simon and Steve do a fantastic job!! Super friendly customer service!! Very knowledgeable mechanics. They got 5 stars from me. Go check them out!!

Several years ago, I tried this place after another auto a/c repair shop kept charging me for a problem they couldn't fix. These guys handled the repair just fine and my older car (2011 Rogue) gave me several years of perfect a/c. Fast forward to now... After getting some engine work done at a mechanic a few weeks ago I noticed that my a/c was fading. It eventually stopped blowing cold and the mechanic said it wasn't his fault. So, I brought it to Cool Tech again and they got my system running cold with some great advice and options along with foresight on what I should expect based on their experience with other cars of my model. Great customer service, speedy service and technical knowledge. I really appreciated this because I use my car daily for work. I fully recommend Cool Tech, especially if other places can't get it right.

Simon and Steve were professional and friendly from the start until the end for my evaporator replacement. If you know anything about an evaporator replacement on Toyota, they are a huge pain in the butt. The entire dash needs to be removed and then twoote layers to get to the failed and leaking evaporator.After a $95 evaluation, they clearly explained the issue and cost. The $95 goes toward the $2K evaporator replacement. I went around 3 popular and highly regard AC shops and their prices were the same. I went with cool tech because my mechanic, Stewart's Auto recommended them. Stewart is a straight shooter and I respect his opinion. He was correct, the shop was clean and most importantly, I felt their staff were honest folks. All parts were OEM and a one year warranty for parts and labor was included.

High recommend this shop. My ac was blowing hot air, they said that my rear evaporator was leaking in my 2003 escalade and it would probably be about $1000 to replace. I thought that was quite expensive since the part only cost $70. They just charged me $100 for the diagnosis and a recharge, not too bad.I ended up replacing the rear evaporator myself and that took me nearly all day so now I understand why they would charge so much since you would be pay a bit for the labor with the disassembling, reassembling the back unit along with vacuuming out the air and recharging the ac system took me nearly 8 hours.I attached a few photos to show what replacing the rear evaporator intales.

I highly, highly recommend Cool Tech. I was recommended by former retired car AC repair business owner. You can trust Simon. I was told by other places that when AC wasn't working, i need to replace my compressor. Simon found that compressor was fine and low Freon. My evaporator is leaking but could used the AC by filling the Freon. I'm so happy I took it to cool tech. I would recommend to everyone!!!

I frequent Cool Tech more than a few times a year for company vehicles as well as private vehicles. They are a full auto mechanical shop. Primarily they are an Air conditioning shop, but they can do oil changes tire rotations etc. They are an honest shop. I say this because if something is out of their wheel house, they will tell you so. They will not attempt it and if something goes wrong its oops. They will tell you, perhaps another shop can do that. I appreciate how honest they are. Additionally Steve and Simon are some of the NICEST guys around. Always caring about how your day is and take time to talk stories with you. Real old school style, very professional, very friendly. 10/10 recommend.

Very good service and friendly local AC garage. Somewhat hard to find so I would make an appointment. The garage was one or two doors past (East or "Diamond Head Way" of) where Google maps took me. They charged me 1/2 the phone quote since my vehicle used a less costly refrigerant and they also added lubricant. If I need a new evaporator I will be going back to Simon/Cool Tech for the repair.Service: A/C installation & repair

The temperature sensor was not working properly in my car which was causing the AC to malfunction. Cool Tech was able to assess and fix the issue within hours. They were super informative and made sure I knew what they had planned to do throughout the process. I appreciated their honesty and would definitely go back next time I need any repairs

Simon is super helpful and very honest! I went in because my AC was no longer cold. A first opinion I got recommended replacing the evaporator core for $3k... Simon was able to diagnose the problem much quicker and had a simpler fix of replacing the compressor for 1/3 the cost! Diagnosed on Wednesday and the problem was resolved on Friday. He credits you the diagnosis fee and also because he found the job to be easier, came in about $100 under his estimate. Even though he can get busy, he will take the time to walk you through what he did and why! He is very friendly and deserves all your car AC business!
