Had to do a drug screen test for a job, so I went to the lab at the airport location. Finding it was so easy and the parking area was big and free. Walked in 10 mins early for my appt. and they took me right in. The staff was friendly, BUT nobody was more nicer and funnier than Ikaika the technician. He was very patient and explained everything as drug testing has very strict protocal. We had a great conversation about being local and laughed about everything local. I am very sure all the staff are very talented concerning their work, but Ikaika took it one step further with his great aloha spirit. He definitly should be the Clinical Labs spokesperson.

This review is for Clinical Labs in general, not this specific location. They constantly send us bills that don't make sense, and then we have to call our insurance company who tells that there should be no balance. When we called Clinical Labs once, they said that the balance was zero and they've been dealing with an issue for 2 years. So why are they in business, and why aren't they regulated so they aren't sending erroneous medical bills to customers? It's sloppy and unethical, and it's a waste of patients' time figuring it out. Plus their bills threaten to send to debt collection agency, which is stressful. Next I'm contacting the State of Hawaii government so they open an investigation into this company. How many patients erroneously pay these false bills?? Their terrible billing practices are documented by others with the BBB as well:

I rarely write good reviews but I needed to acknowledge one of the lab technicians at this location. His name is Ikaika, as soon as I walked in I was immediately greeted with aloha and felt welcomed. He saw that I was already having one of those mornings with my baby as we struggled to get settled and offered to help me get my things in the door and patiently waited for me to get out my ID. He saw my baby fussing and assured me that they would get to me as soon as possible as there are appointments before me, that instantly eased my mind as I knew how busy there were. While waiting I saw other workers doing tic-toks while the waiting room was semi-packed but I watched as he did had the same great energy for every single person that came in! Even for some individuals that didn't have such a great manners he kept his cool and kept the same aloha spirit. When another tech called my name he got up and helped me carry my things to my chair as the tech who called me just stood there! This guy has such a good soul and although he didn't do my lab test he was the only one communicating with me for all my questions and concerns.

Writing this to give recognition to one of the workers that works for Clinical Labs Airport Location. I believe he's fairly new, but his name is Ikaika. I never seen him all the times I come in. I just wanna bring up how lively his personality is. He is really a breath of fresh air. All the time I come to this location the other stuffs are uptight and not pleasant at all when they see you waiting. But for this new gentleman Ikaika. I just want you guys to really show him and tell him never to change. He was nice to me from beginning to end of my test.

Complaint, airport location. No one is inside not one customer and the person that is working tells us appointments are first. Couldn't give us a time how long is the wait. He said it all depends. This is ridiculous because when you go online try to make appointment it says no appointment needed for routine blood work. Guy in there is rude. Would love for this to go corporate and change your online website to at least make an appointment. So at least we don't wait around while they in the back talking and laughing.

Absolutely wonderful customer service and services! I had an emergency and they went the extra mile, spent so much time helping me so I wouldn't have to go to the ER, and had several people working at once to help me solve my issues. Jerry and JoAnn were so phenomenal that I can't say enough good about them both!I will definitely be using them for any labs I need run going forward.

Absolutely wonderful customer service and services! Jerry and JoAnn were so phenomenal that I can't say enough good about them both! I had an emergency and they went the extra mile, spent so much time helping me so I wouldn't have to go to the ER, and had several people working at once to help me solve my issues. People like them renew my faith in humanity and I don't say that lightly. I will definitely be using them for any labs I need going forward.

They open at 6am which was great. There was one person ahead of us which wasn't too bad (you would think). When we got to the window he asked if we had an appointment. We said no. He said then we would be on stand by and he would work us in between the people with appointments. A second person walked in and he had an appointment. There website didn't say you needed an appointment and all the other clinical labs I went to all have numbers you pickup when you get there. We asked how long would the wait be? He didn't give us an answer and said the same thing that he would work us in. (How is it he doesn't know how many people there are with appointments). The first person goes in at 6:10am and comes out at 6:18am. The second person doesn't go in until 6:28am. No one comes in and my wife finally gets called at 6:41am. My wife gets done at 6:48am I don't get called until 6:47am. Diagnostic Labs probably would have completed at least a dozen people by now. Wait... it gets better, now my lab request isn't in the computer system and it's too early to call my doctors office. So I leave without having to do my blood test and still fasting. I now go to the Ward urgent care clinic and the clinical lab doesn't open until 8am. Guess what.... My lab work is in the system and no problem

We just took my son here for his pre-surgery Covid screening. I was happy to find a clinical labs that was open later, because both my husband and I work during the day. To be honest it was a bit hard to find because I'm not familiar with the area. Once we got up the ramp and followed the signs we were able to find it pretty quickly. It's hard to tell if they were open because the blinds made it look like the lights were off. If anything the pandemic taught me , it's to read the signage before assuming anything. . Check in was pretty easy. The lab tech that helped us was very nice and patient with our son. Because my son's autistic, we usually have multiple people having to help us, but she was very gentle and kind, that even thought my son put up a bit of a fight, it wasn't like past testing. Now that I've discovered this hidden gem, I may have to come here to get my sons lab work done.

Had to get a pre Covid test and made the worst decision to try to go here and get it done First I went at 6am before my neighbor island flight the lab tech Mark told me they were booked solid as he looked over my paperwork and that I would probably have to wait a couple hours He informed me that i would have to schedule a future appointment so I did for my return that afternoon So when I walked in that afternoon, he looks at the same paperwork and proceeds to tell me I'm a day too early ! With ? He couldn't tell me that in the morning ? Then instead of discussion the situation and totally ignoring my appointment proceeds to take a phone call He pulls down his mask to talk on the phone while he's standing less than 4 feet in front of me ? Yea, that's following the social distancing guidelines alright I'm guessing just a matter of time this location has a Covid outbreak of their own if they haven't had it already. The kicker as I'm writing this my phone started ringing and the caller is if is the clinical phone number, no doubt to ask me if I was coming in for my appointment. I called the surgeons office and they said it's perfectly fine to do the test today Mark Just so you know Thanks for the great service and good luck not getting infected during the pandemic

Clinic is in a secured building near the Honolulu International Airport. Always busy taking care of drug tests, covid tests, and other tests. The building is up a long road going up to the building right behind the Starbucks where Big Kahunas is located. Parking is very limited..but you shouldn't be there very long of you have a appointment or if you have a short wait for walk ins, you can just park in the stalls in the garage right there. The medical staff is clean, has clear communication skills, and are usually very prompt. Very welcoming and skilled in what they do. The man whom always usually does the testing is monotone + serious but very well spoken and moves with a purpose. Very hardworking people. The woman working the front window where you check in is a super star, answering phones..running in and out of the different rooms assisting patients..taking payments..making appointments..dealing with insurance companies..and covers so much ground yet she still has the breath + patients to greet everyone who comes in and out of the entrance. Small clinic with just one chair inside while everyone must wait in their car or outside until they call you on the phone due to pandemic. Sanitizer is available in front of entrance. I did a few drug tests for different companies i've worked for and had no problems or big concerns, they are a small clinic but service a lot of people. FYI: For drug testing..You'll need to place any belongs you brought with you in a box that any tom, dick, and harry touched ...SO leave everything besides your papers + payment + pen in the car because you'll need to put your items in a nasty box that everyone needs to use. If you don't want to make a appointment which i suggest to do because it's always busy then you can just walk in and take your chances.
