My second time getting my blood drawn here and I'll definitely will continue to come here. The person who helped me today I believe his name is Harris he's Vietnamese was amazing. He understood my fear for needles and habit of fainting during a blood drawn. He was gentle and comforting. This means the world to someone who always faint during a blood drawn. He allowed me to lay down as it was happening and my husband was back there with me. They are sweet here and very sanitary. Parking is free as well!

My partner and I were visiting from Australia and needed to organise a COVID-19 PCR test to travel home. The CLH team at the Hale Pawa'a collection centre were fantastic - very friendly, professional and the payment and testing process was quick and easy given we were from overseas. Both received our results within 24 hours. Highly recommend using Clinical Labs of Hawaii. Thanks again!

Parking is free for 1 hour, every half hour after that is a dollar. Very reasonable. The labs itself was very clean and the staff is very friendly and professional

My wife went in for standard yearly blood work at Pahoa Clinic. They were great but then we got a full priced invoice 2 months later from CLH-Hilo office. I checked my wife's Medicare account and found they paid all of this at the agreed Medicare adjusted price. Kim at CLH-Hilo said to ignore the invoice. Today we get another invoice showing Medicare paid the adjusted price, but CLH wants us to pay the difference. Waiting to hear back before making a Medicare complaint. Very frustrating as a similar billing problem happened last year on my Medicare account. Here we go again!

I called in advance to inquire about changing my appointment time and no one returned my call. The front desk person is very rude and condescending. The place was empty yet they made we wait past my appointment time just to mess with me. A got a very racist "we don't like white people" vibe from the front desk person. Will never go back.

Tested for Covid, but did not test for variant. Would've helped the patient and the state of Hawaii figure out what they're dealing with. I called 8086777998 and they said it did not test for a variant.

I went to this clinic today for a drug test per my job. They were very professional in a very clean and organized facility. Laurie assisted me in my medical help. She was awesome and kind. Her professionalism and detail to my paperwork and patient care was spot on point. It was a nice visit in and out. Kudos! The Aloha Spirit at its BEST!

Very frustrating to deal w/ this company, always some problem or the other, if I could 0 stars or negative stars I would : 1- In Oct, I had a kit for which blood had to be drawn & fedex'ed (in my provided fedex box). After the 8am appt, when I called in the pm if it had been picked up, the response was "I don't know ! I don't know if FedEx has been called today to pickup ! " So I called fedex who told me that 3pm was their cutoff time at the airport; I was about to go the clinic, pick it up myself & hand deliver it myself to FedEx at the airport, but fortunately client services called me at the last minute & told me that they had called FedEx to pickup ! 2- In Jan, I paid w/ my CC in full for the test. 2 weeks later I got a bill for all the tests. When I called billing, they told me that the clinic had not marked the payment as "Paid" in the system, so it's their fault ! After chasing this back & forth between client services (who blamed Billing) & billing dept (who blamed the clinic), it took 4+ weeks to sort this mess out - why ? - because in their Hilo based billing dept, I was told they have an ancient manual logging system & everything about this has to be logged & entered manually so it'll take several weeks before this billing mess is sorted out ! 3-in Jul, I had to get many, many tests done (~$1300 worth). I made my appt 1 mon. in advance, sent many emails & called client services many times to ensure they had a sr. phleobotomist, reports would be organized (see #4 below) as I wanted & that they took special care about processing & reporting. Guess what - after 1 week I get a phone call saying there was a "Processing Error" & I had to go in again to Re-Do a test for which they will not charge - whoopee ! Oh by the way, they will not be able to include this redone test in the other reports ! Getting all these tests done together (after fasting the previous day) & reports organized as I had asked was really important to me - but they screwed up again ! 4-in Jul, before I went in to do the tests (all on the same day, 4 groups of tests, 4 separate lab slips), I asked client services if I could get 4 separate PDF result files (1 per lab slip). I was told by email confirmation that yes, it's possible, they'd just use separate "accession numbers" for each lab slip (whatever that meant). After the test date & waiting 2 weeks for results, the results I got were all in just 1 big 18 pg PDF file, and 4 copies of this !! This is not what I had been promised earlier by email. I really wanted them separated to be able to correlate & analyze them easily. When I asked client services about it they said it's the IT dept's fault as they control it, and now the best they could do is just do a manual split of the big file into 4 separate reports ! Why then did not check on this earlier instead of misleading me & giving me false information ? 5-in Jul, one of my large number of tests was a COVID test. According to their online test directory, results for this test are to be reported w/in 24 hrs.. I did not get my result until 2 weeks later along w/ all the other results. When I asked client services about this, again they said it's the IT dept's fault & said I should talk to them. Finally when I got an email from the IT dept, they just said "they hold all results' reports as 'pending' until all the tests results are done & finalized" - that's just how their system works. Then why do they say COVID results are reported w/in 24 hrs ? I had to wait 2 weeks for them !!! I've checked w/ Diagnostic Lab Services & they too have all these same tests & are also cheaper in most of them - so now I' going to reevaluate where I spend my $$$$ & only use Clinical Labs if I absolutely have no other option left for my tests. What a pathetic, crappy, incorrigibly incompetent company Clinical Labs is.

Came here since it was the only one that opened at 6. I made an appointment to make sure I didn't have to wait and guess what..they could care less about your appointment. The wait was terrible at this location..about 30 minutes after my scheduled time. Way less efficient than dls.

I called Clinical Labs of Hawai'i on Oahu to make an appt. for Covid testing. C J called me back and was helping me find a location, the one I wanted was booked she suggested if I was interested in a drive thru testing. I live in Manoa so the Kapiolani Hospital does drive thru, so that's perfect only 5 min. away. C J was so nice and friendly and pleasing she made this experience so easy. I thought I would have a hard time finding an appt. I'd liked to thank C J for helping me today!! With Employees like C J your company will be very successful!! Thank you!!

If you have a child who needs to have blood drawn, this place will poke your child multiple times and stick the needle in all directions like a rag doll and still not find the vein in both arms. My young child luckily had a better experience at Kapiolani Hospital but if this was the first time, it would have definitely been a very traumatizing event. Now we have to go back to another lab to get blood drawn. What an eventful day by two phlebotomists (yes 2!) who didn't know how to draw blood. It could've been two receptionists trying to fill in the position because it sure looked unprofessional! Poorly trained staff is unacceptable in any medical field. Clinical Lab needs to screen and train their so-called phlebotomists. What a shame
