Carquest has been one of the auto parts stores that I like to go to for my auto needs. I recently needed a new car battery and called ahead to make sure they had it in stock. When I arrived, Chris had already pulled it off the shelf and had it ready for me to purchase. He helped me check the load on my current battery and confirmed that it needed to be replaced. I was about to swap it out there, but he offered to change it for me. Chris exceeded my expectation and went above and beyond. Carquest McCully gets 5 stars because Chris provided me a service that would keep me coming back.

I went into Car Quest by McCully and S King Street to purchase a new car battery. According to their website, they will test and install the battery for free. I was in the process of purchasing the battery but the salesman mentioned a core fee. I asked him what it for and he said it was to ensure the old battery will be returned to be recycled. I questioned him about the free installation and he said that they do not work on personal cars!!! They just lost a $100+ sale. I wonder how long they will stay in business. I walked out and drove to Sears.
