“Located on the corner of Liliha St and Kuakini St., there's a tiny parking lot just past the building on Liliha St. Parking is free. Not open on Saturdays. Still the best place to come for beads, charms and now, cabochons & silicones for pen making. I hadn't been here in years and was pleasantly surprised how much the store changed. You can still get the silver charms and beads, and components to make your own jewelry. I cane in for the holiday charm earring kits. They put the components for making a pair of earrings (minus the posts) into a do it yourself kit. Great Christmas gift. CBY is the party invitation and favor headquarters. They have been for many years. The owner ladies are so talented and creative, and are so helpful in getting on started on a craft project. They will make suggestions of styles and color schemes and components to use. They love helping the youngsters, too. A very warm and homey, family run craft supply store. The last of a dying breed. Buy local, support local, make new friends!”

We both found a couple dresses. Trying them on was so much fun. The girls working made it so much fun and easy. We quickly knew we were walking away with the perfect dress along with a free dress of their ‘buy one, get one rack’ Which we both picked out one for our daughters!
My friend’s dress needed a quick repair. It was sent out and returned within a week!

“Black tie affair is one of the original tuxedo and suit rentals on the island. It’s a good ol’ fashioned mom and pop shop run by two very dedicated people who know and love the business very well. I was fortunate enough to use them for tuxedoes and suites for my wedding party and myself. They hey provided superb service!”

“I had a wonderful experience here. The associates at the shop were mindful of my budget and pulled a bunch of dresses that were exactly the style I was looking for based on my descriptions and inspo pics, along with a few "stretch" styles just to try. They were very low pressure and totally respected my desire to sleep on my final dress decision. I also had my alterations done through the in-house tailor, these were very well done and I had no issues getting everything done on schedule. The only minor flaw was my bustle loop fell out about an hour into dancing, but I was dancing pretty hard!”
