Luxury is gone from this place! Horrible experience for an honeymoon. Roaches on top of roaches. Had the thro away food because of roaches. Had to move my room twice because of roaches. Elevator broke so takes 15 mins to get back to room. Not to mention only 7 people on elevator at a time so not to overload generator. Waste of my money.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. COCKROACHES COCKROACHES!!! enough said. Me and my wife had to move twice and each room had cockroaches. The third room smelled of mildew. We bought food to cook and had to throw it away because of the bugs. This was our honeymoon stay and the experience was ruined.

We spent 4 nights here via my timeshare and then another night as a hotel guest and the rooms were almost exactly the same. That said, this time around, of the 6 elevators, there were only two working which made getting up and down from our room extremely annoying and we had to wait each time. As far as the rooms and the overall hotel is concerned, it's very nice. Everything you need is in the lobby, and I have to mention the breakfast spot as it's fantastic (albeit a bit pricey). Now as this is a condo/hotel/timeshare combination, the biggest annoyance for me (other than the aforementioned elevator situation) are really the condo owners as they are mostly older and can be quite bossy. Perhaps it was frustrations with the elevator but each time we bumped into a condo owner, they had something to say, usually some sort of criticism or just a complaint in general. As a timeshare, this place is awesome but as a hotel, there are probably better ones out there.

Stayed at Ilikai 2.5 weeks. The room was good for the price. The Ilikai is 60 years old on February 29th. Is really starting show its age. Had a lot of elevator issues with several down, others limited capacity and even 1 day with no service at all. Some other rooms had plumbing issues. Ilikai is now basically condos owned by companies and individuals who live there or rent out. One worker said most of owners in the HOA don't want to do many upgrades. Just painting won't make it new. Doubt we will go back to Ilikai.

Worst hotel we've stayed at in Oahu! Extremely dissatisfied! Out of 5 patron elevators only one was operational for a 25 floor resort! Wait time was over 20 minutes if you were that lucky!!! Only one rental generator handling this tremendous amount of staff and "guests"! Yes ...even the staff and service elevators were affected!!! FYI. Our room rate was $400/day and no consideration or compensation for the iconvenience

Upon arrival here the elevators were not working. It left us to haul all of our luggage up 8 flights of stairs as our welcome. Mind you we were traveling with 2 kids. After the first 24 hours only half of the elevators were working and they allowed only 7 people on each elevator although normally it would have been 16 per signage due to the elevators being what seemed to be compromised. The elevator wait time was so long we just took the stairs up and down. At check out my husband waited 45 minutes for an elevator because all were full to capacity. He has a bad back so carrying luggage up and down stairs is a concern. My children and I had to lug our luggage down several flights of stairs as this was more efficient than waiting. The valet service was rude and unprofessional. My husband misplaced his ticket one of the days after we had arrived to unload our groceries and while they remembered us just arriving yet insisted we walk up the 8 flights of steps to get the ticket. Mind you the first three days we stayed here we were never asked to give them the ticket back to get our keys. My husband was told they would charge us a full $50 after only being there for 10 minutes if he did not try to find the ticket. So he walked up and down the 8 flights and luckily found the ticket and when he returned the lady had the nerve to try to charge us a fee for the time it took him to walk upstairs to find the ticket. DO not Stay here! If you are disabled, have children, or a senior they have no accommodations for you. It's absolutely terrible. I do not recommend abled bodied people to stay here unless you welcome a workout and rude valet staff. The discount is not worth it! Avoid this place at all cost. We were also told by someone who stayed here two years ago they had the same elevator issue then. I am shocked that this issue hasn't put them out of business. They must do better.

Extraordinarily poor service. Terrible communication. All the elevators were broken for one and a half days. The main casual restaurant was closed with no signage to indicate when it would be open again or anything. The bottom sheet didn't fit the bed and so it kept coming undone. There was a filthy, dirty frying pan, put away in the closet as clean.

Elevators were down all day of our departure. Had to 5 trips in the ils stairwell up 19 f ing floors up and down with 50 pound suitcases that barely fit. We had a baby and elderly and they did not care and said the stairs were available. Old hotel with poor planning brought in by board and management. I'm in the condo business and this is COMPLETLY UNACCEPTABLE

DON'T STAY HERE! Electrical outages frequently happening in our 8 day stay. Water outages, and now all elevators are down! People checking in better be prepared to climb stairs as some are on 18th floor. I have never seen so many services down! Nobody can even tell us how long elevators will be down for, so now as we are on 7th floor, if we choose to leave to go explore island we must be prepared to climb, which isn't easy when you're recovering from Cancer. Not a single staff member knows what is going on with elevators and now tomorrow we are told water will shut off. It's unbelievably bad to have so many services break down. You can safely call this place the Titanic of hotels in Hawaii, as it is clear it is going down. They should not be booking rooms if they can't provide basic services, and a staff member told us this happens every week. ONCE AGAIN DONT STAY HERE! Zero stars and if there was a negative I would start there

Beautiful view and amazing restaurants and bars. Very pleasant staff. The views from 1328 were beautiful with three pools, a lagoon and the ocean! Fireworks on Friday night! It was made to order!

We stayed here during our visit to Waikiki Oahu, don't even look further this is a best place to stay with kids, very closer to the ocean and the Lagoon. The rooms are very spacious and I like the kitchen inside the room. I also liked the spacious balcony and the city view at night. The staff is friendly and also gave a special cookie assortment for our anniversary. They also gave out vouchers for the ice cream shop where we ended up spending more than what we thought, but those ice creams were delicious. We also use the swimming pool, which could take some updates, but the kids enjoyed the pool a lot. You can walk to a lot of food joints from this place. The valet parking might sound expensive, but they did a fantastic job on the valet parking. There were minor renovations going on at the entrance of the hotel when we visited in the summer it didn't bother much. There were always some evens happening like light music come on Dance and so on which we enjoyed after a day at the beach. Behind the hotel, once you go down the ramp and at the Harbor parking lot, you can get a good view of the sunset. This hotel has everything you need and you will enjoy it. Try this place, I referred one of my friends here, and he stayed in December, and he enjoyed it too!

I stayed here during my visit to Waikiki. The room itself is super spacious and had all of the amenities I needed! I had an enormous window and balcony overlooking the ocean which made the stay all the better! My only complaint is that the front desk service seemed really annoyed that I came up to them to check-in at the start. I had gotten there early and just wanted to drop off my baggage to explore before going up to my room. Otherwise, the Ilikai is so close to so many things nearby, definitely a great place to stay.

This hotel is located in a fantastic location. Easy to drive into and drop off your car at the valet. Everything is efficient and comfortable for a vacation here. ?

A dreadful stay, the hotel Pools are over crowded with people that live in the building or boat owners that walk up from the boat harbor in front of the hotel.( no gate or security) The pool attendant runs the pool like a "prison camp" if You move any Sun chair loungers she let You know its against pool rules.)We made a breakfast reservation at the hotel restaurant Pesca (New Years day) and when we entered the restaurant the hostess told us that the Chef did not show up and the Manager was missing in action as well and they could not serve any breakfast, it felt like "Fawlty towers" is this for real???.At the hotel check out we had concerns about "missing" items in the hotel room (empty body wash bottle, lack of trash bags, no pillows for pull out sofa and the list can go on and on) The front desk person replied "it is not a Ilikai hotel problem it is the hotel guests responsibility to contact front desk" . No accountability at all and after i told her about the restaurants failure she laughed. Thanks God I don't have to come back. Pelle

I have stayed at Ilikai several times and have been my preferred go-to hotel in Oahu. The building might look old, but look past the exterior, and you will find a very clean and organized establishment. Check-in has been a breeze. You have to pay for valet, but I find that convenient and way better than dealing with parking similar to Hilton Hawaiian. The staff is very friendly. The room is beautiful and nicely decorated with a kitchen. The bathroom is clean. I have stayed in a room that overlooked the lagoon, stayed in a room that overlooked other hotels, and a room that overlooked the pool. You're close to shops and restaurants. I must add that you're greeted with an amazing scent of plumerias. The only critique is that I wish they had a washer/dryer in the unit. Other than that, I like this place.
