Yikes!!
First off, on Dillingham Blvd. Not their fault, but impossible to get to with the construction. No left turn anywhere with the detour. Just avoid this area. Added an extra 20 mins to a 15 min trip just to turn around and find it.
When I arrived, two employees in uniforms were out front working on a battery and ignored me when I pulled up. I approached to ask if they could assist/if they work there. One just pointed to the building.
Once inside, I asked for AC diagnostics and then a ballpark figure of a fix depending on compressor, condenser, evaporator. $169 to run a 60 min diagnosis session.
Then 2-3k ballpark for fix. I turned around and left. Not worth it. Many other places diagnose for free (I have found out) and much quicker and are MUCH cheaper ballpark quote for same issue.
Do yourself a favor, Stay away unless you’re loaded. I’m sure they do fine work, but not worth it in this economy.

My A/C was not working and I was looking for something close by while I was working. Called them and they had a opening. When I should up owner said he can look at it but there is a service charge as well as a refrigerate charge of $120 but would apply to work cost if I decided to do the repair there. He asked me to wait inside while they look at my truck.I needed to make calls for my job so I stayed outside. While I was outside I saw them bring tank out to charge it and run test. But keep seeing the technician looking at me and then looks like another mechanic came over and as I was making calls they kept watching me. When they where done they told me that a/c evap core is leaking, expansion valve is bad and my compressor is faulty. $3,500 at least to do repair with labor. I asked them to just fill the refrigerate and they said they did. When I left truck was hot and no cold air at all. A week later I took it to the dealership and had them do the same test and they found nothing wrong and filled my refrigerate and now my truck is cold. I would never use this company or recommend them to anyone ever! Not trust worthy!

Reginold was wonderful and so was everyone else. Reginold took the time to show me what was wrong with my CV Boot as well as showed me the evidence of how they can make the determination. The place was extremely clean for a private auto shop. No real waiting area, but that didn't bother me. I'll definitely be seeing Reginold again.

Because the owner of Auto Air Clinic responded to my review with even more lies, I felt that I needed to post an update with my response to his reply because it was filled with even more lies. What's worse is that he waited almost six years to respond and acts like customers would remain ignorant about the unnecessary mechanical work he would charge people for and never research them. Here is a copy of my reply to him. You can see his response below my initial review. This person is an even bigger liar now than he ever was. I can't believe he's still in business. "Wow. More lies from this guy. Two of the biggest reasons why you're still the biggest lying mechanic I've ever dealt with is 1, you never bothered to give me back the parts you replaced even one day after the job, especially the serpentine belt to show me where the cracks were, and 2, the air cabin filter is NO WHERE NEAR the A/C evaporator core. Because or your lies, I learned where the air cabin filter is and it's behind the glove compartment. Pinch two levers and it drops down and you easily replace the filter in 10 seconds. I save myself $250 every time I change it now. You were a liar then and you're an even bigger liar now. Don't do business with this guy. Even in his response to my review, he continues to lie about his service and his integrity. He's a liar and a thief and he will find a way to rip you off." Response to AAC's last response: You can see how this guy tries to use his knowledge to make himself sound like he knows what he's talking about regarding auto mechanics, while at the same time "nicely" insulting you for your lack of knowledge. As I described in my first review, this is the tactic he takes: he tries to dazzle you with his knowledge because he knows you have a lack of knowledge, and this is where he can screw you. This is his nice guy conman act where then he'll pad the work to charge you for things you don't need and not show you an itemized work order before doing it. I didn't bother to read the rest of his response because I could smell the lying conman coming out. This is going to be the last update I write about this liar, but that doesn't change the fact that this guy lied again in his response. He didn't have to change my air cabin filter because it was behind my glove compartment and not by the evaporator core. And he tried to weasel out of that by adding a whole bunch of mechanical mumbo jumbo. This is the exact same thing I went through with him only he was a lot nastier in person. Stay away from this guy. He will find a way to rip you off. And for the record, I changed my serpentine belt and air cabin filter less than 6 months before seeing this guy. I changed my serpentine belt with over 100,000 miles on it before that (over 5 years of driving). This guy did extra work for no reason and then lied about their condition when I asked him why he changed them. Again, insulting my intelligence because he thinks that customers are ignorant about mechanics, believing that he can get away with it. When I asked for the parts to look at them, he refused and then starting yelling at me and insulting me and accused me of lying. Simply showing me the parts would prove who was lying and would have also settled the matter entirely. Instead, he refused to do so and now he's just lying even more. I can't believe this guy. And yes, I now pay between $12-$15 just for a new air cabin filter and change it myself. You can do price checks all over town and you'll see the crazy prices people charge to change those. You should ignore this guy when he talks about carbonized whacky doodles because I'm sure most of you have a regular cabin filter like I do.
