The lobby was awesome, but our room Very Outdated room 209 210 204 .Our view was terrible dirty sock on roof, air conditioner faced the TV stand, the mattress a big lump in the middle. But the service was Great all hotel workers were very attentive to our requests.Rooms: We weren't aware that the other rooms had balcony and chairs and tables and the air conditioner was facing the room not blocked by furniture.

Good little spot to stay. Rooms a bit small but I don't think anyone plans on staying inside too much in Hawaii. Great amenities (free admission to the Bishop Museum and Museum of art). Worth the price to be so close to the main Waikiki areas. Great views too!

The elevator was old , one side stopped working when we were there and it took at least 5-10 mins to even get in the elevator cause it was so slow . They never cleaned the room . They charge a 250 cleaning fee but don’t clean . Doesn’t make sense . They said all they can do is give fresh towels . The windows have u hearing everything outside u might as well sleep with them open . Only thing good i have to say is i like they had a kitchenette in the room which was a plus but outside of that never again . I’ll go back to Ohana east before them .

We have never booked a hotel with more misleading information than Aqua Aloha. We were so excited but they literally ruined our vacation. They claim to be a 3 star hotel, yet we were given the smallest possible very dated toilet and shower like a 1 star rundown boarding. Room was no different. It was very small. The AC was barely 2 feet from headrest blowing all cold air directly to us, which made us sick very first night. And parking despite paying $35/day additional is just nightmare. Only location is decent. If it is difficult to verify anything online, try to get exact pics of the room before making reservations & ruining your vacations.

If I could rate lower then I would. I wasn’t expecting a five star resort, but I was expecting a hell of a lot better. We were told at check in about $250 charge for daily housekeeping. They do not have daily housekeeping. Our room wasn’t tidied the entire time. We are actually put in the wrong room. This holiday was actually our honeymoon and we had booked a room with a double bed and when we got to the room it was 2 single beds, when we went downstairs to enquire the employee almost didn’t believe us that we had paid for a double room and asked do we need to sleep in the same bed which we replied it is our honeymoon and we have paid for a double so preferably yes, after re showing and proving our booking she gave us a different room. We went to the next room and I can only explain it as filthy. The bed was not made, there was paint chippings that had fallen from the ceiling and mould residue on the bathroom ceiling (considering we had just paid a large charge at the desk for daily housekeeping this room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Again, I travel down to reception to explain what we had just walked into. The receptionist when I’ve got one of her colleagues and neither of them believe me I offered for them to go back up to the room with me, but I had also taken photos to prove this just in case they both requested to see the photos and explained that they had accidentally put us in the room that is having work and some construction being done and we shouldn’t have been put in this room. Staff were rude, bugs in the room. Honestly this place was hell! We requested an additional toilet roll as our room wasn’t being cleaned and replenished, and were told if we needed additional toiletries where the most local shop is! Can you believe we went to a hotel and and had to buy our own toilet roll? I tried to raise a complaint and got the most basic response and they didn’t even acknowledge any of my other 20 negative points

This is my first time to stay in this hotel and a second time for my husband(He recommended this place), room is decent for its price, Reception desk people was nice and helpful and accomodating. This hotel is close to the beach as well as for shopping and restaurants. Me and my family stayed for 7 days last week and I asked for room cleaning/service on the 3rd day then on the 4th day as our garbage filling up and floor carpet needed vaccuming but cleaning lady declined on both occasion and said she will clean it on the 5th day, kind of disappointed as we are promised that they will clean it on the middle of our stay.Walkability: Close to everything.Food & drinks: Restaurants all around a 5-15 minute walk radius

Experience with Tim and multiple members of the front desk weren't great.Similar to Kamryn's review (1 month ago as of this posting) we also had multiple cockroaches in our room over multiple days.Between these health violations (cockroaches) and apparent hidden fees everyone else mentions in other reviews, I don't recommend this place. Just not worth the gamble honestly when you're just trying to relax and have a vacation. Very disappointed

This was our first time in Hawaii, and I hope this hotel does not represent the other 3 stars hotels of the island. This feels like a motel, not a hotel. The carpet was pulling out, disgusting and old, the wallpaper was stained and falling off. The wall next to the bathroom sink had holes and the furniture was falling apart. We stayed at a single room and the room had a door next to the bed the we had absolutely no idea where it led to or who could have access to our room. That made us feel very insecure. The rooms are not cleaned daily but at least the staff was friendly.Rooms: Disgusting, old, falling apartWalkability: Near to everything in wikiki, very good location

There were cockroaches in my first room. They gave me a hard time about it then finally decided to give me a different room. The new room was way better. It’s called a “superior” room. They charge $35 for a parking pass but I didn’t get a car cause I have friends out here. My friends didn’t know the parking rules so they parked where there were spots. Turns out they ended up having to pay. When we tried to explain that there were no signs. The front desk worker got aggressive with us and was very disrespectful. Ended up charging one of my friends $80 and the other $40. The front counter guy caught an attitude with me when I was just asking for clarification.. very very disappointed. I wish I had the money to get a different hotel but unfortunately I don’t. Do not waste your money here. Also they charge you a fee when you check in, a deposit, taxes accommodations etc. which charged me about $350. This place feels like a motel not a hotel. The pool is extremely small. And the “accommodations” cost money even though that’s what I was charged for. Terrible customer service. And my room hasn’t been cleaned the whole week I’ve been here. Also keep in mind we weren’t disrespectful at all too the worker. And he got very made because we were just asking for answers. And he locked the parking lot that they were parked in. There were other cars parked there as well by the way. Just don’t waste your time here. Spend the extra money on a different hotel… I wish I did. Just terrible. The only good thing was the view from my 8th floor room.

It was a fairly affordable location for a little staycation. The staff are really friendly and very helpful. It would have been nice if the taxes and fees didn't add up to be more than the nightly fees, but I guess that is living in a post Covid world... Nothing is inexpensive anymore... but I would choose this hotel again

this hotel is definitely click bait. they hide a $200 fee after you check in. the pool is freezing cold and just a disappointment. the only positive thing i have to say about this place is it’s close walking distance to everything.the room is so small, falling apart, and just completely run down. spend the extra 200-600 on a nicer hotel and you’ll thank yourself later.

People are friendly and nice, but there is no service to the rooms unless requested. I guess this place is considered low budget. But,hey, you didn't come here to spend time in the room.

traveling on a budget? here you go. Best use the lobby filtered water dispenser, small pool, they provides beach or pool towels. parking is difficult, try to park near the canal. It's free. Walking distance to Waikiki beach. There is ants, so remember to seal all your foods.

Great price without sacrificing cleanliness. We stayed in a small room, but your on vacation, most of your time should be spent out of the room. The staff was very nice and even funny. Hawaii is expensive. This is the only purchase I made during my vacation where I didn't feel like I was being robbed. Thank you very

I booked this place with credit card points and didn't realize that the fees they charge you with when you check out are more than the cost to stay in the room. Although that's my fault, just very misleading and manipulative action. The hotel itself has walls that are peeling, ants walking around, and they don't clean your room each day. Just spend more money somewhere else. The only good part about this place was the location, but everything else was lackluster.
