I was assisted by Karen in your Notary Dept this morning. I could not be happier with the service she rendered. I was confused to say the least, about the documents that I needed notarized. She took the time to explain it to me in a very easy-to-understand manner. Although she was not able to Notarize my document, she clearly explained what I needed, and urged me to contact her if I needed more help. I’ve been a customer of American Savings for many years (I have 5 accounts). Karen’s exceptional service solidifies my reason for banking with ASB. Mahalo Nui!

I worked with Reyn Sugai and Amber Hong to get my first mortgage loan on a new house through American Savings Bank. The process with them was seamless! They were always available to answer my calls and texts and made me feel like I was their only customer and their top priority. They got me the best deal and they went the extra mile every step of the process. Great response times, friendly service, and lots of communication. I would not have a house today if it wasn't for them. I made sure to shop around and do my research, but Reyn and Amber definitely gave me the best experience and made sure all questions were answered and made sure I did not have any concerns. I would recommend them any day! Thank you for all your help :)

Over 2 years ago (when the coronavirus pandemic started) I came to the ASB Queen-Ward branch to set up my mortgage for a new property. Alex was the loan officer and he’s bilingual, both Cantonese and English. The second floor of the building handles mortgages and financial transactions for real estate. Glad to say the mortgage is full paid off. Highly recommended.

The home loan office team did a virtual event about home loans and VA home loans. Jose Requileman invited me and was of the great speakers. His team Ashley was the doing the questions asking during our chat and Alex Troung was also another great speaker. They answered everyone questions very well. Hope they could do more online seminars.

Mahalo to Jose Requilman and the team at the Queen-Ward Loan Center and Salt Lake Shopping Center Branch! As first-time home buyers, my husband and I were timid and nervous about the process. But Jose's enthusiasm and friendly personality at our first meeting with him gave us the confidence we needed to be able to say: "We can do this... we can really do this! This is REALLY happening!" There were some challenges along the way, but Jose is very knowledgeable in his work, and he was resourceful, prompt with communication, empathetic, and very encouraging throughout. It is through his professionalism and persistence that we were able to close on time. We truly believe Jose is passionate about helping local families, like ours, to purchase their homes. We are truly grateful for his service and highly recommend him.

American saving bank has incredible customer service. I've gotten both my mortgages and refinances with Carolyn Johiro and Ciria Patterson, and have always gotten all the help I needed from them. They walked me through all the steps that was needed to get through the process, and was always there to answer all my questions and concerns. Highly recommend calling Carolyn for any of your residential loan needs!!!

Talk about awesome service! I highly recommend to see Carolyn Johiro at American Savings Bank on the corner of Queen and Ward. This to commend the staff ( I should have ask his name) customer service is topnotch, of assisting me with my check. I had an experience with another bank not doing a transaction of depositing just cause my husband is not with me but I have him signed and I have his ID.It was even after office hours, whatever questions I have he answered it and he advice me to come to their branch, took my name so I will be assisted. This kind of customer service is rare now a days. I will come back again! Mahalo! Appreciate each one of you!

Good bank. Best hours. Friendly tellers. Got a Canadian check and they cashed it for only 2.50. Territorial bank charged 25 dollar collection fee and 200 dollars of the top of the check. The check was for 3000. I would've got charged 250 from from territorial bank. Asb cashed it for 2 50. Gave me no problems at all
