I came to the club yesterday afternoon by myself. Coach was kind enough to play with me for more than an hours. Thanks Coach! It is a wonderful table tennis club on Oahu with excellent tables and flooring! I am looking forward to playing more at the club! Cheers!

I, at best a 2250 player, went to this club a couple of years ago, but I never got around to writing a review until now. First of all, I am white. I've played Table Tennis my whole life in mostly Asian communities all around the world, and I've always been treated wonderfully--until this 1 time. Like the other reviews below that are unfavorable, mine was very much the same. The club coach, yeah, the bald guy that is talked about, is the racist. He was so nasty to me. This is how it all went down. I showed up about 10 minutes early. I walked into the club and he was giving a lesson. Two other tables had people playing already. They were natives. I walked in and said hello. He just stared at me awkwardly for 2 uncomfortable seconds and said, "yeah". I said, "I'm here to play Table Tennis. What time to things get started?" To which he replied. "The club opens in 10 minutes. "You can wait outside." Note, it was about 110 degrees outside, and inside the club was cool and there were plenty of places to sit. I said, "Okay", without further confrontation. I went outside and purposely stood outside the doorway, he could see me standing there sweating in the baking sun. I just wanted to make a point, and get myself pissed off enough to where I might just choose to go in and knock his teeth out (in my mind only), but...I chose of course to take the higher path. After 10 minutes, I went in and waited for people to arrive. One of his students showed up, a college kid. I played with him, Adam Bobrow style, he wasn't that good, and I kept it even. Coach was back there evaluating me and the club was buzzing about the new player. He didn't like that at all. So, he challenged me thinking he had my number, but he did not. I beat his a** 11-3, 11-1, 11-7 in front of his entire entourage. When it was time to shake his hand I just walked right pass him and out the door. Screw that racist. Notwithstanding, this is the most unwelcoming club that I've ever been to. While I can totally understand why Hawaiian's have issues with the white-man, table tennis is just table tennis and should be used as a tool to bring different cultures together. Shameful man whose behavior is unfit for society.

It's a nice facility, clean, uncluttered appearance, small locker spaces at the entrance, red rubberized type table tennis floor covering, folding chairs placed outside the railing of the front door for players awaiting their appointed reservation times. Players will come with a partner or partners to play against.Visiting single players like myself should not expect to find another player. So it's best to come with a basket of practice balls to run through solo drills alone unless a staff member, waiting player or acquaintance joins in to play with you.As an island visitor riding city buses, this place is easy to access using apps like Moovit or paper maps.Table bottoms are covered with black solid material which eliminated chasing balls under the tables. Nice black pvc/cloth barriers had a cute lower height doorway. Nice touches like this implies a well thought out layout. Feels well organized. With reservations required for tables, it isn't crowded. At the 3pm opening on a Thursday, there were two groups playing and no one was outside sitting and waiting. One table was free. I got to hit for awhile with a staff member. There are community places to play scattered throughout the island but discovering times to play makes this place far more convenient to come and play.

Look I ll give 2 stars because Alex was helpful with the directions to this place and was helpful and also the tables are well kept however it s quite hard to get air especially with the masks on( nothing they can do it s the state mandate) but an AC would go a long way . As to the location of this place it s hard to find and marked a completely different block on Waze. After confirming the TT club is open from 3 -9pm and operational on yelp . I went the same day to here to practice which is 15-20 Min drive from the city center. I came here and there are no lights on . After ringing the door for couple minutes and losing hope that there is anyone in here , someone opened up the door. I said ok maybe he was sleeping now we can play. He was super confrontational tried to state the tables are appointments only when I already confirmed the club was supposed to be open . He was about to close and go because of that and tried to send us all the way back without playing. I told him that I confirmed that the club was supposed to be open on yelp. He started to say who was I gonna play with anyways with a tone not seeing my wife already a floor down. When I said I ll play with my wife I guess he was out of excuses and let us play. Bare in mind I am very accustomed to playing at many places throughout the nation , participate in 5 star tournaments and have a USATT rating of 2000 . This is the most unwelcoming attitude I have ever experienced in anywhere and was quite surprised that would happen in one of my favorite places which is Hawaii.

New people are not welcomed here. The worker is very rude. There is no A/C, so it can be too hot to play. Not recommend if you want friendly place to play. You need to have a partner to play otherwise you will waste your money. It is not a place to start to learn ping pong since no one will play with you.

So glad to have found ATTA! With official table tennis flooring and high-quality tables, ATTA is a great place for people looking to play for exercise or for sport. They're very COVID-safe with daily temperature checks, mandatory masks while playing, social distancing rules, and everyone is required to wipe down their area after each session. Many of the regulars play at a very high level but they were still so welcoming to absolute beginners like us. The manager Billy was particularly kind and helpful and took time to teach us the basic technique so that we could avoid injury and quickly (we hope) improve.

My friends and I wanted to play ping pong and researched a place to go. This was the only place on the island. First, it's WAY to expensive. $10 per person, and a $1 deposit for a ball. The paddles aren't even good (all dirty and ripped up). I wish that was the worst part, but it wasn't. The man running the place is the rudest person I've ever met. I asked if I get the dollar back and he yelled, "do u know what deposit even means?!". He also snapped at my friend for no reason and threatened to kick him out". WHEN HE LITERALLY DID NOTHING!!! He also kept laughing when my other friend missed the ball. I looked at him with he laughed and scoffed at my friend, only to be yelled and threatened. He got all in my face and screamed, "YOU'RE NOTHING!!!". DON'T EVER GO THERE!!!!

If I could give no stars I would, the bald, asian, old, a****** in the front is by far the worst and most rude person I've ever met. I went there today and asked him, "are u open", because the door was open. Then he replied, in natural and usual a****** fashion, "No!, can u read!??". This isn't the first unpleasant encounter with this man. II went with my Polynesian friend once, and he threatened to throw him out for no apparent reason at all. I hope this bald racist f*** can see this comment and realize that he is not a nice man. I don't appreciate his condescending, offensive, and racism demeanor. You should change ur name from aloha table tennis to a****** table tennis..
