Greedy. I took my dog here for an initial exam and a urinalysis. Five months later I wanted to follow up with another urinalysis but they won't perform the test unless I pay for ANOTHER exam fee. She doesn't need an exam, she needs a urinalysis.
They also don't acknowledge her medical records from previous vets. For instance if I move states and see a new practitioner they will refill my prescription based on my medical records. But this clinic refuses to give her Cytopoint because THEY need to examine her, regardless of the multiple Cytopoint treatments she's received from previous vets.
Avoid this place because apparently they care far more about their bottom line than they do the animal's health.

I’ve been to see Dr Chang a few times over the years. He and his staff are amazing and are always super kind and patient with my chickens. With my first chicken he saved her life after she likely ate something toxic and she ended up living another few years. My second chicken made it to 8.5 years and when she finally passed (naturally) their team sent my family a card ?.
Dr. Chang, thank you for everything you’ve done for my family and pets. We appreciate you and your team. Mahalo!

Mr. Chang and staff were thorough, caring, and top notch in advice for our two cats. Choosing the quality of care for your pet is like going out to eat, why go to McDonald’s for a burger when you can get a quality burger from Kahala Mandarin!

If you are searching for a knowledgeable avian veterinarian, I highly recommend Dr. Chang. He took the time to explain and answer all my questions I had about my cockatiel. He has a wonderful personality & sense of humor. Also his staff is fantastic & very friendly. This is my first visit & for sure it won't be my last. We need more veterinary clinics like yours. Thank you Dr. Chang & your Staff!!!

A great experience at Aloha Animal Hospital tonight. There is a lot of variability in the costs and capabilities of different veterinarians along the Space Coast and these guys are worth the drive.

Highly recommend for all pet lovers! Did a walk in and was seen by the vet in right away. 20 minutes wait. Our Ragdoll jumped from the 5th floor... turned out that she was bruised...

Went to the door and went inside with our dog who had a appointment, our fault we didnt read the stop sign they had sayin that to call the number in which they dont answer..we go inside and the lady sittin down tells us its a door side service because of covid but none of the workers including Dr Chang who admitted he was anal about catching covid werent wearing masks at all..when one of the girls that came to handle our dog she decides to put her mask on which defeats the purpose!!!!!! They werent consistent at all when it came to protecting others from covid especially when all of the workers including the Doctor weren't wearing masks at all..if there are rules to follow i would expect them to follow it also..they totally contradicted themselves when it came to that and this has nothin to do with the care..just askin for consistency especially when youre tellin us cause of covid..what a joke

I don't doubt the vet's expertise but what a rip off. We needed to move a dog from Hawaii to the mainland and they charged us $200 for a health certificate and $100 for the physical when other clinics would've charged us $70 for the health cert and $50 for the physical. Also charged another $150 to sign an acclimation form. If we weren't in a bind, we would've gone elsewhere but this was the only vet who had immediate availability. And I'm starting to realize he has availability bc everyone wants to go elsewhere. 2 stars only bc his staff was incredibly helpful and communicative.

We've been bringing our pets to Aloha Animal Hospital for years and have always been grateful for the loving care and honest diagnosis. We've always felt like they care about our cats as well as about us. They've helped our cats stay healthy, helped heal them when they've been injured or sick, and comforted is through loss.
