I really love shopping at ABC Stores when I’m Honolulu. I spend over 250 bucks on Tshirts, magnets and other goodies. Who’s doesn’t like the Portuguese sausages (musubi). There is a whole selection of beverages, snacks, sandwiches, etc. the store is clean as and the employees are helpful and very friendly.

If ya know, ya know. Made a quick stop to grab breakfast- yogurt and bananas. Staff is always nice in any store. They have so much stuff. It’s crazy how many stores there are but it’s the best. Always clean too

There is an ABC store on every corner or more often. They have everything you forgot on your vacation. Plus low cost t shirts sweatshirts and sweatpants. We got an Apple cord when ours broke ( a necessity if I am going to keep posting and checking in at every stop).

We came here to this location often. The kids wanted to get their "babies" a bunch of plush toys that they looked forward to purchasing for such a long time. They got some dino plushies, Doraemon, and a cute pair of flip flops for a great price. I never worry about snacks or souvenirs when coming to Hawaii (or even Vegas) since I know the ABC stores have me covered. We are basically super fans and love to wander in and out of them all day long.

Plenty of these stores around. Would you be surprised to know it's one of the islands biggest companies? They have pretty much everything a convenience store is going to have, plus shirts and souvenirs. You pay a little more that going to a grocery store, but what's your time worth of you want suntan lotion or bottles of water or a razor? Convenient...

Super convenient location with an entrance to Alohilani. It had pretty much everything we needed. We probably bought something from the store at least once a day. The prices were awesome and the staff super friendly.

I can not express how convenient, friendly and beyond helpful this store was during our visit. We were a large family of 27 from adults to infants. We wanted to purchase matching Hawaiian shirts/dresses for the whole family. A super sweet lady named Jhuna that works there went above and beyond to meet all of our needs to make sure we were satisfied. She managed getting us the perfect size plus made calls to have the missing sizes brought to us from other ABC stores. BUT she didn't stop there! She managed to find the perfect size for all 26 of us except for my for my 12 yr old son. The adult small was way too big...she closely started to examine the shirt's stitching inside and out then told me she could stitch it for me and have it ready for our family group pictures that were the next morning. Mind you that it was already close to 10pm...so that means she was offering to stitch the shirt late at night!!! The next morning before she started her 2nd job at 7:15am she text me saying she had my son's shirt ready and met me at our hotel! I offered to pay her for her amazing work but she would not accept my cash!! The shirt couldn't have fit any better..it was perfect!!! I can not express how happy and pleased we were with her exceptional service. I believe her service topped any of those expensive name brand stores along that strip mall!! Jhuna..thank you for making our large family vacation so much more memorable!! Forever grateful!?

I guess these ABC stores are all over around here, and I'm glad it was. I was having a migraine and this place was a life saver. Clean, organized, and had the pills I needed, as well as some hichew flavor I've been looking for. I also picked up a lighter and candle and when then lighter wasn't working, brought it back and the lady was very helpful to get me a new one.

The the ABC store. I think the prices are great for a tourist spot and don’t want to leave the beach.

If you're a tourist and you go to Hawaii and you didn't visit an ABC Store, did you even go to Hawaii? I'll admit when I was living in Hawaii I never stepped foot in one because locals avoid Waikiki like most LA folks avoid Hollywood. Now that I've transplanted and am more tourist than kama'aina, I do find myself strolling through at least a couple ABC stores on a return visit. This one is super convenient, located at the Alohilani Resort facing the beach on Kalakaua. If you're staying at the hotel, find the elevators closest to Morimoto Asia and you can enter the store from the back. I mostly go to these stores to check out the local beer selection, see what kind of trinkets are in style these days, contemplate whether I have enough days left to handle a handle of local kine rum, or replace a lost bamboo mat. If you go to the beach and lie down on a beach towel, try a bamboo mat next time. Bamboo mats are light, roll up neatly, don't get damp, and sand doesn't stick to them. I still have the one I bought 10+ years ago in my car trunk in LA. But while in HNL, I buy a new one and leave it with the AirBnB. It's under $4 and a necessity for the beach. This ABC store exceeds my expectations for a convenience store. Not sure if the fancier hotel location dictates the inventory but this one is bright, clean, well-stocked with beverages and to-go food for the beach just across the street, not to mention towels, slippahs, t-shirts and all kinds of useless trinkets and souvenirs. The store is not as big as the ones in central Waikiki but the liquor selection is not bad. If I didn't have a car and needed to buy a bottle of something nice, at least they have Macallan 12, but if I were buying for me, I would drink something I can't get on the mainland, like any of the Koloa rum. Didn't see Kapena Tequila or Ko Hana rum but I have selective blindness. This store is definitely is bigger than store #33 facing Kapahulu between Park Shore hotel and Teddy's Bigger Burgers. That ABC is tiny. Do expect to pay a small premium for convenience comparing prices with Longs in town, or Costco for liquor. Anyway, if you're at the beach all day and don't want to give up your spot but need something quick, or you want to visit a local chain that doesn't require a car away from Waikiki, then this ABC Store is not a bad one to stop at.
