“Oh my goodness! I love this place! I’m visiting from Idaho and was impressed with the eclectic assortment of up-cycled silk saris. What a beautiful use for things that might otherwise be wasted. There were wrap skirts, dresses and jewelry. All very unique. Will definitely shop online once I’m home. ?”

“Although the store is low on merchandise sometimes, especially for my Fandom, the employees, especially Katie, are SO, SO. Fantastic, she tries to find the merch you're looking for online, and if she can't find it, she has really great recommendations for other items!”

“I can always count on Naupaka to make me the perfect custom fitted dresses. Darlene's designs are comfortable, stylish and unique. I always receive lots of compliments when I wear them. My most recent order included a men's shirt and to my surprise she even matched up the design in the front where the shirt opens. Darlene is so talented! Stop by her shop and see for yourself or check out her online store. I don't live on the island but when I visit I always order a dress and she ships it to me.”

“Once in Hilo is a moderately upscale boutique with hand-made silk blouses, art crafts like koa wood pepper mills and wine stoppers, hand made (hilarious) Filthy Soaps, dish towels, jewelry and huge giant tikis. The tikis are for sale for either 9K or 10K (I forget) but they don't ship them for good reason. If you want those tikis, you gotta show up with your crew and have the help of several men to lift those gorgeous hunks of wood. Tiki carving is becoming a lost art. The lady in the store was super nice and friendly, attentive and gave a lot of history for each item I was interested in but I ended up not buying anything due to being on a budget, otherwise I would have bought that cool steampunk-looking pepper grinder for $125.00, or the amazingly awesome Tidepool Koa Wood Table for $2,650.00.”

“A+. AAA Rating! (In my opinion). We visited this shop 2 months ago while on a cruse stop in Hilo Hawaii. We spent a fare amount of money there. Not because things were over priced, but every time we turned around we found something else we wanted. Despite thinking most of our souvenir shopping was done. An absolute must stop for any tourist to Hilo.Well, we messed up, and got the wrong size shirt as gift. Now, 2 months later, and half a world away, they have bent over backwards to find the right shirt in the right size and ship it to me. Of course I'm paying them to do it, but I am so Thankful they were willing to go the extra mile to help me.These are the kind of people it is always a pleasure to be a customer of.Mahalo!”

“This store is pretty neat. It has some good original hawaiian prints. The shirts are stylish too. They have options for guys and girls. They have some cute Hawaiian dresses for girls and purses too. Few accessories like water bottles, decals and what not. Totally recommend you stop by to check it out. They also had a couple Hula skirts with nice prints for adults. Will be back!”

“Ross is a fantastic store, but it can be a bit chaotic and challenging to find what you're looking for at times. The abundance of options can be overwhelming, and you might need a bit of patience and time to hunt for specific items. However, the hunt is often worth it when you stumble upon great deals and hidden gems.”

“This tea shop looked lovely! I work at a tea company and would recommend this place. Unfortunately my family wouldn‘t let me take the time to sit down for tea, but the staff was friendly and the selection looked thorough and of good quality. Hope to make it back for tea soon!”

“Sign to this unique clothing store. If you looking for glam or just a cool breeze type outfit than this is your place. Family owned and operated by Lilly. Even got to meet the mother who came into help today. If you have little ones (girls) they will feel right at home here too. Even possibly a princess with all the cute little purses and stuffed animal. If you in Hilo you should give this place a shot like we did 10 years ago. They even have a couch for those husband, boyfriend or friends that don't like to shop”

“This shop is THE place to go when you're in the market for any sort of Hawaiian clothing, accessories or souvenirs (particularly the first two). They have an uncountable number of dresses and shirts for all sizes and genders, and it's easy to find a matching set (dress for her, shirt for me) with identical prints, as my wife insisted on purchasing before attending a luau the following night. And the prices are surprisingly reasonable, with a adult dress, adult shirt, and toddler shirt/shorts combo (for our little one on the way!) ringing up around $70 bucks! It's easy to support this local, family-owned establishment, thanks to its incredible selection and affordable prices. Mahalo!”

“I am going to a beach wedding in less than a month. I was in desperate need of something to wear. The ladies at Bobbi Lyn helped me find the perfect outfit and even helped me accessorize it with a beautiful necklace! I love the clothes here and will definitely be back!”

“Customer service here is great and the fresh designs are always welcomed. The shirts are not cheap but also understandable given that they do not mass produce the shirts. The quality of the shirts are nice but they are a little stiff and the sizes tend to run large.”

“Ana of Haleigh Rose Boutique delivers KNOCK YOUR SCARVES OFF customer service. When we first visited this clothing boutique, my daughter, Kulia, & I appreciated the personal attention demonstrated by Ana. My eldest daughter, Kanani, had to fear no more; she was able to find hot outfits for the many graduation parties that she was invited to. Ana & her team of fashionistas are caring & very fashion savvy. From customers, we became life long friends. Come on Hilo... Support local!!!”

“One of the employees here really helped me out by letting me borrow her phone. She even let me use her instagram to find my husband’s phone number because I don’t remember it. I was supposed to call my him after I was done looking, but had left my phone in the car. Employees at TJ-Max weren’t as helpful. Thank you Savannah!”

“We visited this cute shop while our cruise ship docked in Hilo. This little shop has everything from souvenirs to jewelry, a nice offering of dresses (there is a fitting room, which some shops did not provide) and Jade was at the register with her beautiful smile and very friendly manner. She was a bright spot in that area of Hilo and we enjoyed just talking to her.”

“Mahalo to Megan at Icing's Hilo. She was very kind and helpful. She did an ear cartilage piercing on my teenage daughter. She explained the process very well & clear and put my daughter's initial fear of pain to rest. In fact after words my daughter said she didn't even feel anything.”
