Since moving to Hilo from Oahu I find it it's very inconvenient. I can't find any service that I need but when I needed a seamstress I found Syousan on Yelp and I called her to make an appointment because I needed a few of my buttons to be sawn. The seamstress was kind and by the looks of my coat she did a wonderful job. I can say I found a service place that I need. Now I just need to find a good car detailing company.

Very good service and my jeans were cut and sewn to my specifications. Cost is ok for these times when prices are up for everything. I'll be back when I need other jeans or uniforms to be worked on.

Chandra and her daughter are wonderful seamstresses and people. Chandra did some lovely work on two dresses and a shirt for me - she is incredibly detail orientated and works with you to make sure the fit and alteration is perfect. I really appreciate all that they do! Definitely recommend Syousan if you need any tailoring or alterations done in Hilo. Mahalo!

I needed to shorten the length of my shorts and they did a GREAT job ! Reasonable too ! I will definitely use them again when I need any repairs or alterations.

Mom and daughter had to measure my scrub pants twice. Two out of three scrub pants too high. She wanted to charge me to make it right. I need to get more scrub pants. Her time and efforts are valuable but how about me? Never experience this at any other seamstress alteration. More worse she told me not to come back for not paying? One time I went there before closing and the daughter wanted to refuse me service until I told her I came before closing? Take your alteration elsewhere and get it done right the first time. Your time, gas, and efforts are much too valuable for busy professionals!

Service is outstanding. Even during these unprecedented times, Syousan has accommodated my requests to make some alterations and completed it very quickly. Not only is their service very professional, but they are also friendly and knowledgeable. Most of all, they do not charge an arm and a leg. I have already scheduled service with them again and will definitely be only inquiring with them for any needs in the future.

Chandra altered my wedding dress and did a fantastic job! It fit like a glove. She is so sweet and listens really well to exactly what you want. I will definitely see her again for all my tailoring needs.

Excellent work. I had a last minute alteration that she was gracious in working me in, ensuring I was happy with the fit, and even finding other ways to improve the fit that I hadn't expected. The outfit fit perfectly. My experience was by far better than other experiences working with another seamstress on the Big Island.

made an appointment for this afternoon at 2:30pm. Went there, door is locked but the AC unit is on. Knocked several times. No response. Out of here.
