Highly do not recommend this dealership. Within the first several minutes of arriving to the lot and interacting with the salesperson by the name of Uncle Mitch, I could tell that I didn’t want to proceed with bringing any business here. I immediately left after being there for a mere five minutes. I showed up with my family looking to buy a used car within a set budget and the salesman had a very lazy, nonchalant approach when speaking with me. He had also delayed coming up to me long after seeing me. Terrible sales pitch, poor customer service, no aloha. As a local of this island, I would never look in the direction of this dealership when buying another used vehicle.

Got a good deal on my next car and they did me right on my trade. Smooth experience and I’ll definitely do business with them again!

Eric is a very compassionate and empathetic businessman. My family came across some hard-times and long story short, Eric went ABOVE and BEYOND to help us out. Seriously, we need more local businessmen with Eric's ethics. Always there for our community, always supportive of the kids, and always there for our family. THANK YOU SO MUCH Pono's for being so kind and generous! If you need to buy a car, go to Pono's! If you need to sell your car, go to Pono's! Just go see Pono's for any and all your vehicle needs! PERIOD!

I’ve been shopping around for cars for a few weeks now and this place by far had the sleaziest sales tactics. The guy wouldn’t give me a price on the vehicle off without knowing first what I would be willing to pay for it, which is a sure sign they’re not concerned with fair pricing, they’re just ripping off the customer as much as possible. If a dealer won’t tell you straightforwardly what the price is- walk out. The sales guy quoted me a price that was 10k over bluebook value, and then said “but if you tell me what your budget is I might be able to lower that for you.” Like just tell me the price you freaking scammers. After reading the other reviews here though it seems like I dodged a bullet anyway- looks like they just use quick fixes and shady mechanics to make a car appear functional and then as soon as people drive it off the lot the check engine light comes on and they discover thousands and thousands in issues. If you’re looking to buy a vehicle I would shop literally anywhere else.

I bought a 2018 Honda Accord for about 30K with 60K miles in September 2021. The check engine light came on right when I drove off the lot, like magic. They were very accommodating and had it checked out, but the check engine light never came off after buying it. I didn't discover until later that the car did not have high beams, the dome lights didn't work, and the trunk lights didn't work. They someone before must have sold off all the parts. They installed the missing parts free of charge, but I would have thought they would have checked that beforehand.

Inquired about a car because I really, really needed a vehicle. I had asked prior because I don't have the best credit score. But they said okay let's come in and talk. Basically went there to be laughed at. Such a cocky salesman. He really laughed at my situation. No aloha.

Went in the other day to look to buy a truck, I specifically wanted a tacoma went to Pono's cause I'm always seeing the trucks with my luck I drew the most crappiest salesperson ever his name was Mitch, doesn't know a dam thing about trucks or pricing f****** spacey as hell I wouldn't doubt it if he's mentally challenged..was a complete total waste of my time going there I wish I had another sales person maybe this review would be different if you go to Pono's to buy a car avoid that guy! HE F****** SUCKS AT HIS JOB!!

I was interested in a vehicle from Pono's but it didn't have a price, so I clicked the email to ask for a price and ask about the vehicle as well. I did this not only once but 3 times.. C'mon guys... Oh well I got a 2020 Tacoma instead.
