A little out of the way, but what a great experience. Our guide was so knowledgeable, and taught us so many facts about the chocolate industry. And the tasting was fabulous. So delicious. Very cute shop to purchase their chocolate as well. Highly recommend.

Visiting Lavaloha was one of the highlights of our trip! Nick was a great tour guide, was interactive and clearly cared about what they do there.

The tour was fantastic and very informative—so much in fact, I ordered cocoa seeds that night at the hotel. Nick, our tour guide, has a gift and talent for leading people through the not so simple process of making chocolate. Highly recommend!

Great experience on a very beautiful site. The.tour guide was very knowledgeable, nice and welcoming. Very well priced, I recommend this tour to anyone visiting Hilo. For NCL Pride of America cruise, this is a perfect morning for this port of call.

The beautiful ride up to the farm is a hint as to the magnificent experience ahead. The tour is fun and informative The staff is engaging and helpful. The chocolate, the chocolate of course, is divine.

Despite the rain, we enjoyed our tour of the chocolate farm and loved sampling the different flavors at the end. Would definitely recommend if you are visiting the Hilo area!

Perfect tour for a rainy or sunny! It was POURING rain everywhere in Hilo when we went yet we stayed dry on the tour — they provide umbrellas and you’re driving around on a covered vehicle with retractable side shades. The truly rain didn’t detract one bit! The tour was entertaining and insightful without being drawn out and the chocolate is excellent (we bought three bars at the end)! Even my 5 year old loved it and said he wanted to go again! Can’t recommend this tour highly enough in rain or sun!

Good news: Nick's tour--even in the pouring rain--was fantastic, interesting and delicious.
Bad news: We have to go back to work to pay for all the chocolate we bought (irresistible)!!!

Beautiful location and the tour was very informative. Our tour guide Lacey made our experience special and the chocolates were delicious. We are excited to share our purchases with our family when we get back to the states. Thank you for making our tour so wonderful.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and patiently answered our many questions. Having us sample the different flavors and types of chocolate during the tour allowed us to decide on which chocolate to buy. We did not know how very labor intensive the chocolate making process is....from bean to bar. Impressive. Would recommend for everyone.
