The tire tech that met me outside was very friendly, not so much as the lady inside.I explained that my tire was shredded and I couldn’t drive any further on it, she told me to come back later, with tears in my eyes I explained I couldn’t drive on it . She stated we are swamped you just have to come back later. I was willing to wait and she told me no just come back later.

K & J Tire Center was $100
less per tire than a well known Hawaii based company and really nice folks plus a sweet cat mascot !

They did an excellent job diagnosing the problems with my tires and getting two quality replacements installed in the same afternoon. Prices were within the realm of reason for the island. Office cats were as cool as promised.
The only improvement might be for a bit more shaded and spacious customer seating area.

I dropped off my tire without an appointment this morning for a flat repair. An hour and a half later it was ready. Service was fast and friendly and the best part was no charge! Awesome company, I'll be back.

They fixed my tire!! I went to every tire store between Pahoa and Hilo they all refused to fix my tire because I had put a sticky strip in the hole as a temporary repair. My car does not even come with a factory spare. Just an air pump. Thank goodness they weren't afraid. It was literally a brand new tire and the hole was right in the middle. K&j took the tire off the rim and did a real professional repair from the inside that has lasted me years now. I will never go to a different tire store.

What an awesome place, called at 10:30 drove down and had new front tires by 11:40. I can't think of any other place that is that quick. Great customer service to boot. 10/10
