I went to check out a car here a while back. Brandon was really chill about letting me take my time to inspect the car without someone standing over me. He was straight up about the cars strengths and weaknesses.
I ended up not buying that car because it wasn't quite what I wanted. But the whole experience dealing with this business was low stress and pleasant. I would recommend them to someone looking to buy a used car in Hilo.

I didn't end up doing business with them but my impression after interacting with them was this. Honest, transparent conversation about the truck I was looking to sell. They gave me referrals to other people to potentially do business with. Integrity seems to be at the core of their practice. A genuinely positive vibe about the whole staff. Go in and support people like this.

Our visit to Big Island Used Cars was infused with the spirit of Aloha! Garrett welcomed us with a warm Mahalo, patiently answering all our questions. Brandon then took us on an exciting test drive and crafted a very fair deal for us. Michelle smoothly guided us through the paperwork, ensuring a professional and pleasant experience. Great experience purchasing a nice car there. Family business, easy to work with and we had our car within a day. 2018 Nissan Armada fully loaded and with a 2 year warranty. Very happy all around.

Absolutely blessed to have come to this dealership. Normally going to the dealership is such a hassle for us and we spend all day there. But going to Big Island Used Cars was so easy and effortless. Brandon listened to our wants and needs for a vehicle and while he made some calls we got to check out the inventory of cars. We fell in love with the sequoia that they had. He even checked the tires to make sure everything was perfect and he had it sent to the shop to get brand new tires. We will recommend anyone looking for a used car to go to brandon!!!.

Brandon and Katherine are the most down to earth people you can do business with. They were friendly and helpful, they actually take care of their customers rather than just trying to get a sale. Nothing is left out when doing paper work, and most importantly they were patient and answered any questions I had. Thank you guys for the great business and car.
