Part of the tourist experience if you hail from the Midwest is visiting a local 7-11. For those of you who are local, 7-11s in the American Midwest ( between the East and West Coast, the Great Plains, the Great Lakes, big post-industrial cities and disappearing farmland) where 7-11s are place of horrendous coffee, insulting service, dirty public restrooms, and botulism. But 7-11s in Hawai'i have fresh coffee, friendly service, and awesome local taste snack foods. Some of the best Spam Musubi is found in Hawai'ian 7-Elevens. It's like they are not even the same corporation. Still open all the time. Instead of the "I'll help who's next in line," and "have a nice rest of your day," the woman working here actually talked to me like I'm a human being albeit in local Pidgin (which made it seem even friendlier). Mahalo!

I hate to say that 7/11 is the best thing on this island but it truly is. So many selections of onigiris and rolls and local noodle bowls help confirm that you can't beat the value and the taste of the convenience store. This is a solid stopping place before the next hike or beach day without breaking the bank.

If you ever have midnight, munchies or need an early breakfast snack, this place is literally one of the only places that are open 24 hours a day seven days a week. Their selection of local snacks is among my favorite. Slurpee's are in a nice way to refresh on a very hot day. However, I do vote that they should bring back the piña colada flavor, which I haven't seen in what feels like decades. The Char Samanna pool is that you can get near the register or one of my favorites.

The rest of the employees have always given me noticeably incredible customer service and the store is always well stocked and clean but this one star review is for the employee Chrystal specifically. I asked if I could use EBT on my purchase and I guess the answer was yes and that it was an inconvenience for her because she did not answer, angrily turned the card paying terminal to me, then stared me down while I paid and left. Yikes.

Hawaii 7-Elevens are the best! This one had a variety of different Hawaiian foods such as rolls, musubis, filled steamed buns and entrees. All are reasonably priced. They also have Slurpees with Hawaiian flavors. Only downside is they do not do 7-Eleven rewards but their unique products definitely make up for that.

Smaller store but fully stocked. Nice people too. Respect the Locals, their culture and the place they call home.

Another 7-11 location for consistently yummy food. Only issue I have is outside parking lot gets pretty sketchy at night especially during the later hours.

Now I see why people rave and crave a 7-Eleven. This place was magical and only makes me want to see the ones outside of the United States. Moment I walk in, I immediately went to the refrigerated/hot foods section that displayed nothing but perfect bites and meals for such a low low price. Sushi rolls, musubis, oniguris, rice bowls, noodle bowls, chicken karaage, dim sums, hand rolls, baos, and everything that would satisfy your tummy with yum yums. Their packaging was also special with the separating the seaweed and the filling, and you open it in a way that allows you to assemble the roll (as sterile as possible). This allows for peak crunch and no moisture on the seaweed. Genius packaging. A must try for me was this inarizushi that is topped with ahi tuna. The flavors were so good together and it was super filling. Bless the people who were there for me on Christmas morning. I only hope that their shift was smooth and east and they are compensated well for holiday hours. Overall place is well lit and clean. Plenty of parking and good vibes all around. 24/7. PLEASE TAKE ME BACK!
