“CarTowKohala (CtK) became a necessary shot-in-the-dark repair haven for my car as a result of a damaged rear right tire, i.e., I had stripped a lug nut on my flat tire and I was unable to remove it. Living in a remote area of Kohala, having the car towed to The closest tire repair facility in Waimea would have been extremely expensive. I realized that here in Kohala, there appeared to be a "vehicle repair shop" on the corner of Hawi town that I would always pass on my way out of town. Having very few options left to fix this tire, I called Cartow Kohala and I was greeted with a very pleasant and reassuring female voice telling me that they would be able to fix the tire. I drove slowly with my damaged tire to CtK. Within several hours, I had the lug nut and bolt replaced, my flat repaired (1-1/2" wood screw removed) and the cost was way cheaper than a tow to Waimea.
