“You can't go wrong if you are in the area. The selection is so big you can't just walk the isles, you have to look at every box because they are all different snacks. I wish their drinks were better priced/ more unique beverages but you don't come here for drinks, you come to find the 5 for a $1 deals on snacks that are normally $3 each”

“When going around the island, I always make it a point to visit here if it's not a Sunday lol. I always pick up atleast 10 trays which lasts me almost a weeks worth. They offer a lot of eggs for reasonable prices. They also have produce and snacks available. Customer service is always a win here. They're really friendly and always talk story.”

“We live near this store and while there's another small store across the street we ALWAYS go here for what we need because this store is owned by a wonderful, friendly local family who remembers you and what it is you buy there...and most importantly we try to support local people and their businesses! Not to mention, this small store carries SOOO many thing's you'd be pleasantly surprised for sure!”

“I really enjoy my neighborhood Foodland in Pūpūkea. The store has a low key friendly no matter what time of the day you visit. They make fresh sushi tolsand poke all morning y. Hubby loves tne Crazy Combo Roll. I specifically went to get some much needed items for dinner. I'm glad that all my items were o sale. Not mainland sale prices but hey, every penny counts. The self service checkouts were open but not many people use them still. This just takes some getting use too by some. I love it and Your out quickly versus waiting in line.Who knows, maybe I'll run into you at my local Foodland.”
“Foodland is the land of the loyal. Nice people pleasing to the senses. It smells delicious in there and the food is fresh. I lost a gold and diamond ring and it was there when I went back they held it in the customer service desk. Then you get loyalty points when doing a survey after your purchase which saves you money when you choose to apply it to you bill at checkout….. all I need is for you all to start delivering!!!! You’ll shut these other stores down. Trust Me you have an awesome produce section and your prices are competitive!”

“Being a military family we are fortunate and it's been a privilege being able to shop here for groceries and the supplies that we need. Being from Hawaii and the cost of living so high this store saves us a lot of money on food. That being said this is the location we shop at most having it be close to home. First I love the fact that it's never super busy. Parking can always be found nearby and the lines are never long at least during the times we've went. The food selection is pretty good and it seems a bit smaller than some of the others on the island but definitely has everything that we need to check off of our list. It's clean and for the most part staff here are fast and friendly willing to help out with something should you be looking for a particular item. Really great commissary overall. Small side note: I did order a huge birthday cake at the bakery for my daughters first birthday this year and had issues with the order being lost and rude staff with bad communication there so Please TRIPLE CHECK YOUR CAKE ORDERS!”
“I'd say two positive things about Foodland is that the workers are really nice and helpful and Foodland also has most necessities you might need, especially for college students. One negative would be that the price can be bit more pricy than costco or other stores in town. Also, closing down the pharmacy made it harder for me to get access to my maintenance medicine.”

“Portagee guy at fish counter yelling at customers to “get inside the store because the flies…”very thankful there are s a supermarket all the way in da’ country, however, no act all anykine’ because you know we no moa’ choice ‘for shop…?.. the cashiers look depressed unhappy to help you…?sorry, You guys,maybe this pilau’ attitude is trickling down from management ?.. sad because this is the only store besides Longs ..the closest supermarket is Foodland Laie and they close on Sundays.. otherwise, drive to Pupukea Foodland or Kaneohe..?”
