“A neat shop to visit and look around. A little disappointed in the product quality. Bought this $50 mug in November and almost immediately began getting hairline cracks in the glaze on the inside. Always hand washed, never in dishwasher, only used for coffee. Outside is holding Up great at least.”

“We visited Kauai 5/23 to5/29/23 and found this delightful gift shop and, next door, the amazing Kalaheo Cafe. At Tradewinds, I bought beautiful brushed sterling sliver earrings and necklace pendants in a Plumeria design created by Ted Daily for my daughter and daughter-in-love, plus some pieces for myself. “I had been looking for shells for my granddaughter and finally found them in this delightful shop, at a very reasonable price. ( from 80 cents to $2.80 each). I also bought one that was quite large- maybe 6-7 inches long- in a beautiful pink that was only $12.80. I was very pleased with this purchase. The other items in the store were really nice too- not your typical made in China surfboards. They had totes and other items made of fabric that are great souvenirs. The sales staff was very helpful and pleasant, giving me a basket to hold all my shells and wrapping them carefully for me to travel. The wooden serving pieces were also very nice and very well- priced. Lots to chose from - I think I might have to go back tomorrow for more!!!”
