Nice garden, but a little expensive.
A good stop on the Road to Hana. Ideal for families with children!

It should charge by car not by person. It ends up cost us a lot of money.

- Very rude and aggressive staff, felt unsafe with the guy who was a worker whose name we don’t know. A misunderstanding was escalated into a threatening situation, so we had to urgently leave.
- overrated overall and not worth it
- $20 per person to just enter, even if you spend 5 mins at the parking lot and realize it’s not worth it, they don’t let you out unless you pay
- $5 dollars for a watered down office coffee
Tricking tourists… so many other awesome places on the road to Hana with very nice locals!

My husband and I enjoyed stopping here but were not ready for the price of $20 per person. Too expensive for us to go on a little nature walk so we probably won’t be back. The map they give you makes it seem like pretty big place to explore but the trails were shorter than they looked. The peacocks were beautiful. If you plan to check this place out BRING BUG SPRAY!

Very neat and beautiful area on the way to Hana. Entire site is very clean and you feel like walking into a friends garden. Never the less 60 USD for a family of 4 is quite expensive. There is no staff on duty except in the cashiers house.

Saw a dancing peacock which i had long been wanting to see.
Beautiful place, rainbow, waterfall, bamboo, beautiful 100+ years old mango tree.
$20 per person entry fees is a bit too much, but i think we enjoyed it.

As many others have pointed out, the per-person cost of visiting the Garden of Eden is pretty high, especially with larger groups. There is no discount if you have a lot of people in the car. That said, it's still a beautiful place and if you can swing it, worth a visit at least once in your road trip to Hana. There are many unique tropical plants and everything is arranged to give a "walking through the jungle" feel while still being well maintained. There is a lot to explore and beautiful views of the ocean. You can also see Keopuka Rock, which was featured in the original Jurassic Park movie. There are also waterfalls, peacocks, and giant bamboo to discover.

A beautiful garden with some nice views. After completing all of the road to Hana I realized this arboretum did not provide anything I could not have seen or done elsewhere. There are some pretty bamboo eucalyptus trees and many other plants. It is a nice place to stop and enjoy some wandering. Not worth $20 per person.
