Lady that worked there was helpful to my surfer husband but when my 6 year old picked up a leather surf leash out of a box of 50 on the floor and asked her what it was she said “you shouldn’t touch things on the shelf; they are old”. It was very rude and my kid deserved respect like any other patron.

Da Kine Hawaii retail shop is a beautiful space with a unique location. The shop is run by two beautiful surfer girls that are very knowledgeable regarding wave riding and neccessary equipment. The customer service is some of the best I've ever experienced.
