I absolutely loved my experience at West Oahu Acupuncture. The level of care and attentiveness is unparalleled. The staff is kind and friendly, the office is beautiful and calming and the practitioners are knowledgeable and effective. I would highly recommend anyone to get their treatments here and try out the red light infrared therapy bed! Life changing!

Great place that's really helped my wife. Owner is really nice and concerned about her patients. My wife says she is really excited to integrate their newly introduced red light therapy and see what outcomes occur. The owner also supports the local community.

Thu Yen is awesome. My treatment ranges from needles to cupping to massage. Massage therapists have been added with specialties like cranio-sacral and Swedish. The aromatherapy and Chinese medicine options are an added benefit. The new red light therapy is very good

I had never tried acupuncture, or any for of Chinese medicine at all. But I came in open minded on a referral from the VA. The first session I was nervous, you know- needles entering your body and all. But after the initial meeting Zyre had put me at ease with his vast knowledge of not just acupuncture, but healing from more than just a medical aspect! He told me that it would take a few session to feel the effects. I started the referral for my shoulder pain after an accident but he told me they open all channels not just a certain area. I will tell you after the second session my anxiety had decreased greatly. After 5 session I feel better physically and mentally. I brought my wife for cupping and massage and she absolutely loved it! It helped clear the phlegm in her lungs from whatever non Covid aliments she was suffering. I have been made a believer to where I called my father and praised the healing process I had felt so far and suggested he try it too! Love this and West Oahu Acupuncture! Very clean facility with friendly staff and very relaxed feel to aid in the healing process! Thank you so much for the new lease on life I have never felt so in control of my own life.

After suffering from severe headaches and dizzy spells after a concussion I was faced with two options, rely on pain medication or take a wholistic approach to my healing and pain management.Thu Yen was incredible and you could tell she's worked with various cases of pain management and anxiety management before. Within two weeks we made major strides in healing my concussion and other triggers that was contributing to my pain. I have loved going to her and have been going once a week ever since my first consultation back in June where we're now working through past trauma that is still stuck in my body.She is truly the best of the best!

It's very poor Service, He has left me on the table twice over a month forgetting that I'm in the room while she attends to other patients at the same time very unprofessional. I am a patient with a very Bad bad injury He is not able to lay on the table for long periods of time she had left me twice for over 45 minutes without even checking on me without even checking on me which is so unprofessional she knows my condition but she's trying to serve other patients at the same time very unperfect

I waited until the end of my first ten sessions with Thu to review... I wanted to get a good few weeks of treatment before I reviewed! Why? Because it seemed too good to be true! But it isn't! It is true!!!I have suffered through so many issues that have all stemmed from a birth control issue (20+years ago) and a gymnastics injury (30 years ago) Hormonal imbalances, mood swings, painful ovulation, weight gain, anxiety, depression, migraines, back pain, foot and leg pain, GI imbalances, acid reflux... Thu is patient and listened to me explain all the issues I have been dealing with! She made me feel heard and valued for the first time with a health practitioner!Within 2 sessions with Thu I started feeling relief! Some of my issues were quickly resolved! Like the acid reflux and GI! These were regulated within the first week of treatment!I slowly started to realize that I wasn't struggling with the crazy anxiety I had been struggling with! (I did not have anxiety prior to my birth control issue) that my mood swings were easier to come out of! And that I was getting up ready to go for the day ahead!After 3-4 sessions I began to sweat when I worked out! I have not been able to really sweat since my birth control in 1999!! I legit didn't sweat! But now when I work out I SWEAT!!!!Then she floored me! She worked on my varicose veins in my legs! And for the first time since I was a young teen I was pain free! My feet and back did not hurt! I cried! I have been able to work on my feet with very little to no pain!I can not even describe the changes she has made in my life in the few short weeks she has been treating me!I will be continuing my treatment with her weekly! And my family is also starting to join in too!!!The entire environment at West Oahu Acupuncture is perfect!Thank you Thu for helping me get my life back!

Dr. Thu Yen is wonderful, caring, knowledgeable, professional and focused on each individuals care. Me and husband has been getting regular treatment from Dr. Thu Yen for last 6 months and we no long use western medicine unless is medically necessary ie. surgery. Product Review: "Blue Poppy Herbs" I recently contacted a fungus from somewhere. With living in Hawaii in a tropical environment it's very easy to encounter fungus in the most common places or even during hikes, or the beaches ect. I spoke with Dr. Thu Yen, she examined the rash and recommended that I use the ointment on the area until healed. Once home that afternoon I Applied the ointment, about 4 hours later at bedtime I washed my face before bed and could already see a difference. I would highly recommend keeping Blue Poppy Herbs - Antifungal Ointment on hand.
