This review is just for the bakery. Thank you for always having the bakery nicely stocked and clean. My kids want pastries every week and so we generally come here to grab muffins, bagels and donuts. This is just a note, the last box of 6 donuts we picked up were all cinnamon twists, and they were beautifully hand twisted and the perfect size to fit a half dozen box comfortably. My only complaint here was that the donuts were over-proofed this time around and therefore absorbed a lot of the oil. I can vouch for this Safeway bakery that this is not a common occurrence being that we buy on a weekly basis. I understand that it can't just be thrown away because of the need to fill the case, but just a note. Maybe dairy will allow you to roll the racks into the cold case if there is a time gap between proofing and frying. It'll slow down that proofing process time and therefore giving more ample fry time. We don't know the staff by name, but we do know the ones we interact with are always the sweetest! Everyone looks so happy and enjoying their days. Thank you Ewa Beach Bakery

This Safeway is nice and usually have anything you need. It has a deli that serves fresh items, buffet style food, and fresh or grab and go sushi. (PRO TIP: The grab and go sushi is marked down in price after lunch or dinner times are over.) They have a great floral department, a nice deli, a liquor department, and a Starbucks indoor. The groceries tend to be expensive but it is a place for convenience. Food/flowers/liquor all can be delivered. I would give five s but it's expensive and they're out of things sometimes.

Safeway has been consistently disappointing me more and more over the past few years. From flowers that die within 3 days to rats at the beretania location.Today went to get "fresh" french bread. The bread was warm so I assumed it was fresh. Got home and ate what was clearly 2 day old bread that they microwaved to sell as "fresh". Rising prices, lower food quality and rude lazy workers.Costco for the win. I wont ever go Ewa Safeway again and will do my best to avoid all Safeways if possible.

This Safeway is huge, clean and bright. I like how everything is spaced out and they have a lot of ready to eat foods. I don't cook often, so ready to eat sections are important to me. They had bentos, sushi, salad and wings. The wings section were full and looked yummy. The wings are always sold out in town at the Safeway that I always go to.The poke department also looked very good. I got some clams and tako. They were both delicious. I wish I lived closer to this Safeway. I would come to this location more often.

I just moved to the west side and I'm happy to have Safeway close by. I went for the first time this past week and the Safeway is super clean and organized. The employees were helpful and friendly. Also, I like that they have lots of parking and other shops and restaurants in the shopping center. I was glad to see that they had lots of fresh food options--and Starbucks!!

Great professional service from manager Michael, at Ewa Safeway. Thank you so much for addressing all my concerns. He demonstrated himself with excellent customer service, and went over & beyond to take care of me & my family. Michael, showed a genuine interest in helping me. He took the time out of his busy schedule to call me, and let me know that the items I wanted, were delivered. Michael's display of patience, kindness & management skills were utmost incredible! I would definitely recommend this location to all my family & friends, and will definitely be returning in the near future. Thank you again Michael, for all your great service & contributions to Safeway. Awesome customer service!!! We need more managers like you:):):) Take care!

I love my local Safeway. It is my go to for grocery shopping when I am not buying in bulk. Most of the time they have exactly what you want, which can be difficult at times on island depending what you are looking for. They have a decent sized floral section if you are looking for flowers for a special occasion or not occasion at all. I have ordered food from the deli for a get together and they had the food ordered waiting for us when we arrived. All of the staff I have interacted with are great, friendly, and helpful.Ensure to sign-up for their rewards program so that you can put in your phone number and get rewards. You can use the rewards for money off your groceries or $.10 off a gallon of gas for each $100 you spend. Note: the rewards do expire to ensure to keep track of that.

First time at this Safeway on the west side. I had to run in for one thing, but found myself wandering around the store looking at all the pretty decor and flower displays. I was impressed to see how clean, nicely stocked, and organized this store was. They are conveniently located next to City Mill. I ran in after my Starbucks run which is in the same shopping center. Staff were friendly and helpful and I found exactly what I was looking for. Self-check out was also a breeze. I usually shop at the commissary, but I will definitely come back for my shopping needs! They have great deals on specific items.

The food is good but portion size is really crap. Prices are way too high a friend of mine bought some gummies for $14. No price tags on a lot of the items how I know what I'm paying and if the amount is correct? The service is ok at best. The store social media has turned into some political climb for Janie Gueso and less about the store. There were signs up all over, she makes post about her and her politics on the store site, and even films there. Mom and pops stores wouldn't have done that. Back in the day, they were hard workers. Not people who just ran their mouth. The ambiance is that of an old time mom and pop store, old, and not very well up-kept. 1 star don't go there

SUSHI REVIEW ATTENTION ALL SUSHI LOVERS. THIS Safeway's sushi is SO GOOD. *This is a public service announcement* if you're looking for a good fresh sushi that is grab and go with a wide variety of options then you should come here. It's not that I have been to all Safeway sushi sections on the island but I would say of the ones I've been to this has the best options. I was most excited today because they had a spicy roll that had fresh sliced jalapeños on top! I also got a roll that was really healthy, it had the California roll base with carrots wrapped in lettuce and rice paper. AND I really delicious and pretty roll that had a little chunks of chopped fresh salmon on top. I forgot to write the name of it down but I have a picture with this review. I also took pictures of everything they had just so you can see the range of options they have. They poke balls also look really good too.(you may need to come by noon because later in the day there are less and less options). To be honest I've gotten sushi here anytime of the day. Evening included. However if you want the most options and the freshest options come and get this for your lunch.

Will start off by saying I wish I had the pictures for proof, but I was so hungry and excited to try it that I didnt bother. That and I didnt find out about the price until after the fact. We got a beef stew plate and a tub of poke gummies. We also asked for the uala poi, but I guess they didnt have it in stock. The young female who rang us up said we could have it as a side though, so we agreed. When we got home, I opened the plate and was very sad. It was 2 scoops rice, and the stew consisted of 2 huge potatoes, 2 pc meat, and that was pretty much it. Not even enough gravy to mop up 1 scoop of rice, and even that was stretching it. It came in those 3-divider take out plates. The 2 scoops rice and the beef stew both fit on the big side, there was nothing else in the 2 smaller compartments. No salad, side of anything else. I feel like I had the most mini version of a lunch I've ever seen. It wasn't nearly even enough to tickle my hunger pains. But boy let me tell you, that beef stew was ono. Which might've actually ended up upsetting me more lol. It was so good! Here I am looking at other customer pictures and ours looked nothing like that size-wise. Unfortunately for us, I felt really cut-off. Then I remembered the side uala poi. She had given us 2 of the really small round containers. I could tell off the bat it wasn't the uala poi, and sure enough, it was the regular one. I also love the regular He Mea Ono poi, but I had specifically asked for the uala, which is also what the young girl up front offered. So another bummer there. Then I asked how much he paid.. $26. That seems really inexpensive, but for a mini mini mini plate of beef stew with almost no stew or extras, 2 side poi, and a gummy poke...$26? Forgive me if that's worth it. I honestly don't know how to take that. Been wanting to come here for sooo long. They are the cutest mom & pop store in Ewa Beach. Family owned and really down to earth...I love watching Janie's videos as she makes you feel like you've known her forever and you're also part of her family. They have almost everything you could need or want! The variety of plate lunches is awesome. The shave ice, slushies, ice cream, and alcohol lol. Plus all the essentials and old school kine toys. This place is the definition of nostalgic. Reminds me of the place I used to go everyday after school, and sadly there are not too much of them anymore.

I been going to Silva's since I was living on Ewa Beach road! Think I was 12? I forget. It's been over 30 years now. If anyone don't know this is a family owned business. Means..private, small, limited but yet still they are able to keep this convenience store open for the locals. There food is all good. Sometimes get bad days where had the wrong people working yes yes yes and they made some mistakes but remember NOBODY PERFECT so don't put that on them. Like APPLE didn't mess up before or maybe FOODLAND stores. Long story short, you going make one comment..base it on a actual experience. You all be saying things about companies making YELP reviews that you really never made the effort to go down there or actually try the food or get serviced by someone. You be making votes based of a phone call cause one day nobody answered. NOW IM BOTHERED. Anyways... I always go and grab the usual because I love my Hawaiian Food. Look Highway Inn charges just as much as gives just as much. Trust me, I eat like one man! Lol Keep up the good work Silva's! Keep it up! Don't give up because of these superficial reviews! Here's a real review. I eat there almost every week. Been there all my life. I still go cause they get everything I need if I run out and if I'm hungry they get the grindz or the munchies! If it's not your cup of tea, change scenery. No need cause a scene! Mahalo!

I think I may have come on the wrong day or something. They only had their hot dogs plates. Chili was okay , like from a can okay but not homemade. And the hot dogs was boiled but left in pot for a few hours so not hot anymore. The only plus was the pineapple soft serve. Like not driving all the way to Dole cannery
