we absolutely loved boarding our boy with stephanie for 11 days. this is the only boarder i could find with 5 stars on yelp and she did not disappoint! this was our first time leaving our dog with a person that wasn't family/friends so i was very anxious... especially because he's a 70lb pitbull and i know the reputation this breed can have and how some people may feel about them... but stephanie was very sweet and kept complimenting him which made me feel a lot better already :) we had an initial 1 hour meeting with stephanie in her yard while our dog explored and got familiar with the environment. stephanie let him get comfortable being around her and didn't bombard him to make him feel anxious or nervous! by the time we got back from our trip, i can already tell they had become best friends :) she sent us plenty of photos and told me our dog was playing and giving plenty of cuddles. so i automatically knew he was having a great time!! my dog is kind of a lone wolf and likes to play with people more than other dogs. stephanie was very attentive to this and made sure all the dogs were having a fun while being safe at her home! i would most definitely board with her again, i trust her wholeheartedly thank you for taking such good care of our baby!

Stephanie is a lifesaver. Our usual sitter was on vacation when we needed someone to sit our dogs while we were off island and we checked Yelp and found out she's local and our side of the island. She was responsive to my call and we messaged back and forth. She told me what health documents we needed to provide before we did a meet and greet. After we submitted the paperwork we scheduled the meet and greet. We had about an hour alone in the yard for the dogs to roam and get accustomed to the yard and Stephanie. The yard is spacious with plenty of area in the open and in the shade to relax or run around. On the day of drop-off you meet on the side of the house where she has a gated area to meet them and unleash the dogs and take the food and anything else you are giving her for your furbabies' stay. Then she introduces them to each dog that is there one by one. Some take longer than others but it's safer for all dogs involved. She sent us pictures throughout the dogs stay. Stephanie is definitely a dog lover and took great care with our dogs while we were gone.

Loving Paws is an excellent place for your dog to board while away. It was our first time leaving our four-legged baby but Stephanie made us feel comfortable and we couldn't have asked for more. She is easy to work with and we can't wait to plan our next trip. Mahalo Stephanie for welcoming and taking care of our Bear!

We boarded our two dogs with Stephanie many times over the past couple years. Stephanie treated our pups like they were her own, and it showed in how happy they were whenever we dropped them off for boarding. Stephanie was great with handling both our older dog with some medical issues and our younger rescue who is slow to trust strangers. Stephanie is thorough in her assessment of your dog's temperament and health to make sure that all the dogs in her care will be safe & healthy. Highly recommend Loving Paws for your furry family members.

Stephanie is our go-to furbaby sitter for our furbabies Keahi, Keanu, and Peanut for 4 years now. We just couldn't trust our furbabies to other sitters except for Stephanie as she really treats our 3 little furbabies like family. Just recently, we had an emergency in the Philippines and we needed to extend our stay, Stephanie was accommodating and flexible and I am so grateful that we have her to take care of our babies while we're away.

I highly recommend Loving Paws Dog Boarding to all paw parents! As a first time dog owner, I was worried about finding the right boarding place. I was referred to Loving Paws by a coworker who raved about how great it was. I called to inquire and spoke with the owner, Stephanie, who was super friendly. She provided me with all the requirements to board your dog and answered any questions I had. Before boarding your dog, you do a pre-visit with her. During the visit she gets to know your dog and sees if they are a fit for boarding. While talking story with Stephanie, I could sense her love for dogs and passion for what she does. I appreciate how personable she is and has such a great attitude. She is very professional and organized. This really lessened my anxiety and worries I had. One of the best parts of your dogs stay is that she will send you pictures of them. These pictures show them playing and having fun. I love receiving these photos because it warms my heart knowing my dog is having a great time while he's away. After my dogs first visit, we boarded him again, and again at Loving Paws. It's really that great! He's always so happy to go and gets excited on our drive there. We've only known Stephanie for less than a year and have boarded him many of times! I know I can rest assure he will be taken well care of. It's his home away from home! Again, I'd you're looking for a place to board your dog, I highly recommend Loving Paws.

Update: Wow... looks like I finally got a response. Since Yelp has character limits, I'll keep my reply short. Stephanie, say whatever you want here because this is the only space we'll communicate. I gave you a lot of time and opportunities to respond (just not via phone, but I already explained to you why & you made it like I was ignoring you). I liked you a lot and appreciated you more than you will ever know. You made it nasty with your greed & entitlement and I will eventually forgive you for that. I have the time and energy to retort and people here need to know what they're getting themselves into and observe how you react, after money is paid. I'm sure my dog had an amazing time at your place and for that I am thankful... but you need to own up to what you did, follow through on your commitments and communicate. I did what you told me to do and you agreed to do what I wanted so I communicated with you. You over-explained below with some falsehoods which is a stigma of a guilty person, and I choose not to nitpick (well, Yelp won't let me either since it was pretty long). You're only responding now because I called you out after you sent me a silly bill as retaliation. You know what I'm talking about so let's not twist things up, yeah? -------- As my cousin once told me... the Coconut Wireless here is real. If you need an honest professional dog boarder and thinking of bringing your precious one to this place... think twice and read on. Stephanie lost my dog's $30 training harness and offered to replace it... twice. She then went back on her word, saying she shouldn't feel like she had to, since she gave me a discount. Her "discount" is her agreeing to follow her price guide, which is $77/night for dogs 2.5 years and younger & $66/night for dogs 2.5 years or older. She initially quoted me $77/night for the entire 6-week stay and my dog turned 2.5 years partway through, so not sure how following her price guide is a discount - Um.. okeeeeeh... lol. I also paid $48 for 12 sessions of Tooth Brushing, $50 for a bath, $30 for 3 days of Easter Holiday fees (maybe I shoulda told her I was Buddhist), forfeited a $100 deposit due to a last minute work trip cancellation, then paid $100 deposit again to take care of my sick mom overseas and I think she charged me some bit of tax too... this all came to about $3500 for this 6-week stay. Not cheap on any level, but I thought it was worth it.. UNTIL- I got ghosted when I showed her the harness receipt... UNTIL she slippah-slapped me with a $40 invoice for whatever food she fed to my dog. Which is silly & disturbing because I heard nothing about this during her brief weekly updates and I left 2 months worth of dry kibble and Fresh Pet Raw Food... but it wasn't until after I returned that Stephanie confessed the raw food went bad because she kept in the fridge & in hindsight, she should have kept the bag in the freezer. I bit my tongue on that one.. didn't want to state the Captain Obvious, out of politeness and respect. Anyway, I got this insulting $40 invoice via Venmo today, which is almost 2 weeks after pick up... kiiinnda thinking this is retaliation for me reminding her to keep her word, don't you? I came to Stephanie based on these 5 star reviews, her vibe, and her backyard. Even got her Omiyage and coffee because I thought she was cool... but... nah, she's the Super Slim Shady kine. Don't trust the reviews below and feel free to take mine with a grain of salt. Just hope you don't learn a $3500 lesson like I did. If you've got the time, energy, and money to deal with disappointment and greed, then I definitely recommend this place... said no one ever in the 808 State.

My Mocha & Minnie LOVE staying there! Whenever they come home, I swear they mope around the house for a day or two....missing their friends (some of the regular dogs who board there). Stephanie is very responsive to texts and sends pics of my fur-babies when we're away. I recommend Loving Paws to all my paw-parent friends.

We have two Bernese Mountain Dogs, and Stephanie handles them both so beautifully - especially the one who has some separation anxiety! After moving home from the mainland, our challenge was finding someone who was comfortable with large breed dogs. I appreciated how she took the time to get to know me and also the dogs, how they were trained and socialized, how they get along with other dogs. The dogs absolutely love Stephanie. Stephanie is super professional, her yard is super nice, and no matter how long I leave the dogs with her, I know they're really well cared for and that they have fun with her.

We've never been away from our dog overnight and I was nervous/bracing myself for separation anxiety. I am so glad that my other half found Loving Paws Hawaii! Stephanie made the process a breeze and she has a well maintained, completely fenced off yard. We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing that our dog was somewhere he is treated like family. He had his own vacation with all his friends! We also got photos/updates throughout his stay. We will definitely be returning for future trips. Thank you to Stephanie and her family that also helped take care of Leo
