Reviews are true, their hours have been a bit wonky lately. I think due to the pandemic, they had to adjust hours and the BOH online has the wrong hrs posted. But they are definitely still here and not closed down as the yelp app is showing. This is not a major branch, located inside of a Safeway. Lines depend on when you arrive. Usually I experience no wait up to two people ahead of me. I had longer waits only 3 times in about 3 yrs. Once was about 20 deep. Still, line went a lot faster than a competitor I used to use. My reason for this review is for the Ewa Beach BOH Team They have always been awesome! They deserve Kudos for Customer Service with Aloha Spirit! I hope someone in upper management recognizes what a great team BOH has at Ewa Beach Branch.

7/29/2021 @ literally 4pm on the dot. I'm hauling my kids to get there thinking they're not closed until 7pm which is what their hours say. Teller says she can't cash a check because she's done with all her batching crap for the day. Also that I'm supposed to be in line before 4pm in order to get assistance. Little does she know, I used to work for bank of Hawaii. Good excuse lady. You know bank of Hawaii trains you to strive for customer service and you definitely did not. For a bank that has a lot of fees and charges for every damn thing, they could not spare a minute just to cash a check. Also, FIX YOUR YELP HOURS SO PEOPLE DO NOT WASTE TIME COMING INTO THE STORE. This is why I've switched over to another bank. Bank of Hawaii customer service sucks!

Disappointed went on Yelp and it stated that in store bank is open till 3pm and I just got here at 230pm and it's closed. I just wasted gas and time driving here to find out it's closed. So annoyed! There's a sign stating it's open on Saturday and Sunday till 3pm and it's not open. You folks need to change info on Yelp and on sign posted at location.

They are closed during the pandemic if anyone is wondering. You can call the number to confirm if you need further information, routing number, etc.

Take it or leave it, type of review. If I had known that the service to customers performed at a poor level, I would've never decided on Bank of Hawaii. The experience has been piss poor as soon as I signed my authorization for refinancing w/ BOH. The loan officer's communication was half-assed and processing the paperwork through the site or the officer is not streamlined. Now that I'm part of the BOH family, their website and services are not up to par with the industry; Such as the different logins for different types of accounts e.g. mortgage, personal, and also regions. Resetting your password and UserID by authentication does not matchup in their database. Which makes me wonder about the integrity of their system...If I have the mortgage statements and account information but when I try to use that info to authenticate it is me, how come the website and customer service over the phone are not sure why it does not match up. Let alone their 643-3888 number is on average 20 minutes before someone picks up. Sounds like I'm nitpicking, sure. But we live in a world of technology that should streamline this type of service - embarrassing. I do give the benefit of the doubt and try to give businesses a chance, especially with what other yelpers say about a company. However, I should've taken the bad review of BOH as a consideration.

I hate lines to get my money deals done. That's what BOH Ewa Beach has for you. I had a $35 check from my girlfriend from BOH from closing an account that I tried to deposit in my account, signed. If there was an issue with insufficient fund it was there check, wouldn't do it. Tried to deposit a post dated check told them to not post it until it was ready they wouldn't do it. Every time I call customer service i have to wait min. 30 min. I'm sick of this bank they really don't care about the customer. One time they closed my account because of to many transactions on my savings account, no notice nothing they have my email address couldn't even let me know. Was in the mainland had to barrow money from my Mommy, how embarrassing. This Bank is full of themselves, they like to take your money with stupid fees. And when you need customer service you wait tell they are ready to talk to you, on their time not yours. Been with them 20 years now still treated like a new account. They don't care if i have an account with them or not, Bye Bye Bank of Hawaii!

I know everything is HECTIC cause of this CORONAVIRUS but wouldn't you put more tellers just to get people out of there. One teller helping this guy for like 20 minutes is crazy. All I had to do was pay my damn water bill & I'm there with my son waiting in line FOREVER!!! Lucky my son was prepared & had his mask, hand sanitizer reminding me not to touch anything. What makes me sick they didn't do like other banks where they put X's so people stay 6 feet away from each other, I was like "OMG" we in it. I mean do they even no about this virus? Apparently NOT!!! Common BANK OF HAWAII!! I know this is stressful & you probably wouldn't wanna be at work with this virus but take action so people feel comfortable. Knowing too with all the germs and s**** they should wear gloves, & also "Where the hell is the hand sanitizer" ??? You guys working with money for Christ sake!!!

Aloha,I would like to recognize a few people at your Ewa Beach ISB Branch. I came in to the branch on 3/5/20, inquiring about removing my husband from the accounts that I have with BOH. Being that my husband and I are legally separated I did not want him on any of my accounts. Prior to walking in to the branch I said a quick prayer "Dear God please give me someone patient and kind" I already had a person in mind prior to walking in. I stood in line and Angelica called me to her window. This is the person that I was hoping would help me. Lets just say my prayers were answered. I explained to Angelica what was going on and she immediately went to work. We closed a handful of accounts and opened new accounts with only my name. Angelica was extremely detailed oriented. She made my banking life so easy. She completed everything you can think of. From the opening of a new account(s), online access for the new accounts, ordering a debit card(s), and creating a transfer relationship for all accounts both old and new. She went above and beyond for me. Stellar Service. Along with Jessica, Risa, and Jon. This is why I choose to bank with Bank of Hawaii. My branch is absolutely amazing. These employees needs to be recognized for a job well done and than some. The front line staff at Ewa Beach ISB is terrific. This feedback is not only because of what they had done for me, but for the countless customers that they help on a daily basis who do not have the time to provide feedback. I hope this message finds its way to BOH CEO. This branch definitely deserves recognition from the triad team.--Shy Kamai
