good food, wide selection, but get here early; deserves the praise it gets for fishing gear; pleasant staff. not a convenience store! lots of choices in alcohol, but no milk.

There's a great selection of fishing gear, its right off the main highway. It's hard to miss there's bento's ?. Perfect place to grab something to eat, drink and snack on for a day at the beach.

Their bento meals, prepared salads, noodles, pbj sandwiches are THE BEST! Don't sleep on Salt Pond Country Store! Kauai doesn't need to be about fancy restaurants or instagramable places; local small spots like this are gems!
