“I was looking for some souvenirs for my young grandkids but everything I found was lame and extremely expensive. I went to Big Save in Eleele and found some awesome Hawaii wood puzzles and Hawaii hard books at very reasonable prices! A fraction of what I saw similar books for at other stores. Well worth the drive!!!”

“What a GEM ? of a place! Tucked away in the Lawai hillside- you will find the cutest little market! The inside was very nice, welcoming, filled with local food, products, meats, cheeses, breads and more! Attached is a coffee cafe and they also have warm food to order- Breakfast, Lunch etc items. I ordered for Lunch the Cheeseburger ? and Fries ? and I can tell you- it was so ONO! ? The ingredients were fresh and tasty! One of my new favorite burgers on the garden isle. I highly recommend you to check Lawai Market your next Kaua’i visit or if you are local- drop by- you need to give Lawai Market a try! I will definitely be back for more! Mahalo Lawai Market staff for your hard work and ONO food! ??”

“Aloha Spice Company is the reason to visit Hanapepe. It's a beautiful store with a variety of original, locally made food products and gifts. All items are unique - no typical touristy junk. The lady at the shop is super nice. It's worth dropping some $ there.”
“Hidden gem around the side of the market itself: a little burger joint! Unbelievably cheap for Kauai and some of the best burgers I’ve tasted in a while. I had the double cheeseburger deluxe and it was the perfect lunch on an overcast Hawaiian day.”

“Come here for the açaí bowls & friendly staff! The grocery section is limited but they still have great beach-friendly snacks and beverages ? I’m so glad I waited to get a smoothie bowl (poipu) here instead of the fancier / new cafes on the north shore that cost more and gave less. This was a GENEROUS portion of smoothie AND fresh fruit. Highly highly recommend if you want some refreshing smoothies or bowls!”
“I come here occasionally when I'm in the neighborhood. They have lots of hot foods, snacks, beverages and miscellaneous items. Counter service was friendly and quick.”

“This is a great local market. I thought the prices were reasonable for the area, it was well stocked and the staff were very friendly and helpful. You can save yourself a trip to Lihue stores by shopping here which was a big plus to us on this trip while staying in Poipu. I’m glad the owners of the condo we are staying at suggested Big Save to us.”

“It’s the only place within easy walking distance of Poipu Beach that sells groceries, beer in 6 and 12-packs, and a bunch of other standard items. Yes, it is expensive but so is every other store and you pay a premium for proximity. High quality, large selection, hard to hate on the cost of convenience.”
