Had SUCH an amazing experience here diving offshore of Ni'ihau, around Lehua. Did three dives in one day and got to see sharks, sea slugs, nudibranchs, plenty of monk seals, sea tunnels and arches, and more throughout each dive. The catering for breakfast, lunch, snacks and drinks was plentiful and great quality, with flexibility for those with dietary restrictions if you let them know ahead of time. The couple who run the business are so friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Also of all the places we've rented gear from, Bubbles Below had the nicest quality and best fitting wetsuits and fins for us! That really makes for a better dive experience. Could not recommend them enough :)

We had an amazing time on the Ni’ihau scuba trip yesterday! The crew, Clay, Tom and Savannah, were just fantastic. The diving was incredible! Stunning underwater topography, the walls were shear, deep and full of life. We saw sharks, monk seals, turtles, dolphins (dolphins from the boat touring the crater), nudibranch, octopus, frog fish, etc. the return trip was a bit rough but the captain expertly guided us home. Oh and we saw a delivery via WWII surplus ship being delivered to the island.Will 100% dive with Bubbles Below again on our next trip to Kauai.

Best dive outfit on the island. Dove with Clay over three years on 8 trips. Always feel safe, informed, comfortable, and enteRRRtained!Clay won’t go without a baseline of visibility that seems higher than the other companies. So you know that if you go, you’ll have great dives!

Great locally owned dive boat. Treated us as good as any private dive boat I've been on. Captain Clay tells some bad jokes but he manages to make you laugh. Truly concerned about safety and giving you the most for your money!

We had an exceptional time diving with Bubbles Below and would definitely recommend!Starting off from my first call with Blondy, she was so so friendly. She comforted me and familiarized me with all the diving options available. And was even able to customize the dive day schedules based on what we were available to do given their schedule wasn’t already too busy. The main above and beyond things that Blondy did however was 1) well discounted our multi day dive packages by helping discount gear needed and 2) bringing an extra guide along at no fee given they had the bandwidth too just so we could have some extra support and comfort and capture photo/video memories.During the week itself, there were several weather hiccups and Blondy and Clay did everything they could to still get us our shore and ocean dives that we were visiting Kauai for! They were beyond spectacular and my husbands favorite dives. We dove with beautiful sea turtles, sharks, a plethora of fish, saw our first bait ball, and even spotted humpback whales on our journeys in the ocean. Clay was so attentive from start to end during the dives, and evenly wrote out on a dashboard clearly everything that we saw.The only thing I might caution is that the surface interval we did with the team was longer than we traditionally do on dives and led to substantial sea sickness. The waters were a bit rough due to storms and seems relatively normal for Kauai, but vomitting between dives was not ideal, but the team was still very friendly and accommodating to getting me geared back up as quickly and easily as possible.One another really positive note, Clay is so informative through the entire journey. You can ask him any question about diving, skill sets, what you saw, other marine life, and you’ll be happily satisfied with so much content! Between him and Savannah, I felt so comforted and safe through my dives. Savannah was extra warm upon my first dive with the team helping getting me acclimated to the water and continually reassuring me even when I was second guessing myself. When I was struggling with buoyancy in the water, Savannah spent the extra mile to spend ten minutes with me not exploring and just focusing on the skills which I so appreciated!This mom and pop scuba shop is as personal, intimate, and comforting as you can get. We really felt like better divers after this journey and can’t wait to come back again!

loved diving with Bubbles Below. Clay (one of the owners and dive masters) is amazing. such a funny and interesting person. great vibes on the boat and great dives in Kauai! they also go to Ni’ihau so I’d book with them for that.

Can't recommend diving with these guys enough, we had such a good time we came back the next day for another round! Clay, Savanah, and Tom are an awesome crew and make the trips fun and relaxing. They are all super knowledgeable about the area and sea life and we will definitely dive with them again!

Bubbles Below is our favorite dive shop on island ...no doubts about it! Met the crew at 6:30, rec'd a thorough safety brief, equipment assembly and check. Captain Clay and First Mate, Tom, met us with smiles and excitement for our 3 tank adventure dive. The water condions weren't ideal, some swells and visibility challenges, but this crew did an incredible job choosing dive sites, checking before selecting the best...much appreciated bc it's a lot of work. Dove three amazing sites with them, enjoying sightings of white tipped reef shark, octopus, yellow crab, turtles , lobster, nudibranchs and tons of reef fishes, shellfish, all identified expertly by our divemaster. Drinks and food during surface intervals were plentiful, great variety of snacks, and catered fresh fruit, muffins and hero sized sandwiches. Excellent service, fantastic diving, all with Aloha! Great job, excellent customer service, we will be back again and again! Mahalo!!!

Highly recommended this company to everyone!! Clay and his crew were very professional and friendly with a wealth of knowledge to share about the area. Had a great time exploring the reef and seeing all the beautiful sea life Kauai has to offer. Felt very safe, informed and entertained (Clay has some great humor). Can't wait to schedule another trip with them :)

Captain Tom and DM/Captain Clay were wonderful taking us to dive Hale O Honu! A truly special dive with abundant Honu turtles, barracuda, and a moray eel among many other colorful creatures. Their maximum dive group is 6 so it makes for a wonderfully intimate experience especially given this was only our 3 and 4th recreational dives. Visibility was 30 feet, surge was minimal and Clay made sure everyone was enjoying themselves helping us reinforce skills we learned in the last 2 years. For novice divers, Bubbles Below gets our highest thumbs up!

Absolutely fantastic, highly recommend!!!!! We were on our honeymoon in Kauai and booked the Ni'ihau & Lehua Scuba Adventure/Charter with Bubble Below. It was absolutely spectacular!!! Clay, the owner of Bubbles Below was so helpful in getting us the right gear, preparing all our equipment, and getting us ready for this all day adventure. We had our own masks and snorkels but rented wetsuits, fins, and we were diving with Nitrox tanks. Adam and Jake were fantastic deck hands and made sure we had plenty of snacks and comforts while on the long boat ride out to Ni'ihau. We visited 3 different dive sites and saw multiple monk seals!!!!!!!!! I could have stayed there all day watching them swim around and scratch their backs on the sponge corals. We also saw sea turtles, nudibranchs, conches, many tropical fish including the hawaiian state fish, lobsters, corals, and lots of eels. Clay and Jake were great at pointing out all the cool things underwater and taking us through really neat underwater sea caverns and caves. Above the water, they taught us all about the history and showed us some really cool landmarks. We would highly recommend Bubbles Below and this adventure over and over again!!!

Had an incredible day of diving over at Ni’ihau with Clay, Jake and Captain Tom. Getting to see the monk seals was definitely the highlight of the trip over and a great way for my husband to hit his 400th dive. Appreciate BB’s attention to detail and concern for safety during all parts of the trip. Thanks to Blondy for the great communication during the booking process, prior to our trip and at check in as well as the great food and snacks. All in all we’d highly recommend diving with Bubbles Below when in Kauai!

This was supposed to be the full day diving off Niihau, but circumstances dictated a cancellation - or change to a 2-tank local dive. I am glad, I did the latter. Pleasure to go out with Captain Clay and Jake (And Blondy in the office was a pleasant contact.). Two shorter dives at Amber Arch (75') and Hale O'Honu (60'), limited visibility but full of life: Eels, turtles, crabs, reef sharks, fish of all varieties... Fun!
