We did the NaPali Coast Sunset Dinner cruise and had a wonderful experience! Captain Elia and crew were very professional, knowledgable and fun. Captain Elia did a great job sharing fun facts and highlighting everything there was to see along the way, from Barking Sands to each of the different valleys along the NaPali coast.Even though we had a bit of rain during part of our sail, it wasn't too bad and all part of the experience of being on Kauai. Our boat had seating on the upper deck along with some exterior seating on the lower deck as well as interior seating down below.Later in the cruise as we sailed back down the coast, it got especially rough and choppy with tons of splashing in the front, and guests were asked to move inside or to the top deck where it was safer.The views were the reason we were there and they didn't disappoint! You get up close and personal with the NaPali coast and it's absolutely breathtaking. This cruise did not include a snorkel element, but we did manage to see a turtle, two pods of spinner dolphins and a young humpback whale which was incredibly exciting since this was early November and not yet officially whale season!The food was fine but honestly nothing too special. They market it as a luau style menu, and I guess that's what it is, but it's not as fancy or exciting as what some of the other upscale sailing companies might offer. The cookies for dessert were disappointing.That being said, this cruise was less expensive than the one that boasts the fancy food, so if you are truly here for the views and experience and not for a gourmet meal, you can save a little money and enjoy what Blue Dolphin has to offer (which is otherwise great!).Finally, the sunset itself was stunning. That was the other reason for selecting this tour as opposed to others earlier in the day. We got the golden hour views of NaPali as well as the perfect sunset to finish our day.All in all, I highly recommend sailing with Blue Dolphin Charters and would happily book with them again in the future.

Spent a morning with Captain Cole, Luke, Maizie, and Alex on the snorkel and NaPali Coast tour. It was a great experience from check in - departure. The whole crew was accommodating and tentative to all guests. They were super knowledgeable and open about sharing their knowledge. We saw dolphins, whales, schools of fish, and a turtle. I don’t suffer from motion sickness, but I will say that if you do you should come prepared.

My family took the sunset dinner charter, and we could not have been happier! The captain and his crew were so professional, helpful, and friendly. We had one family member that was seasick, but the crew was understanding and caring, and went out of their way to make sure he was taken care of. The captain's knowledge of the island was impressive, and he had a great sense of humor. The dinner was delicious. And the views of the island- SPECTACULAR. I highly recommend Blue Dolphin Charters.

Just wow! We did the dinner cruise. What a great experience! We had a female captain and she rocked! The crew was very friendly and knew what they were doing, they were excellent as well. Food was good. Views were amazing. There were 2 guest that did get sick. Waters were a bit rough, but we had a fantastic time and I would do it again!

One of the best ways to admire the incredible Na Pali coast from the sea! The half day tour was perfect, the crew very professional and friendly and the food and beverages (specially the mai tais) included were of great quality and taste. I really enjoyed the snorkelling spot and got to swim very close to a turtle. We were lucky the sea was quiet so the whole tour was quite smooth. Watching the dolphins swim with us was also one of the highlights of the day! Very complete and worth it!

Giving 5 stars because captain J Sea and her crew Naya and Jack are excellent. Naya was super attentive to passengers that were sea sick including my 7 year old son. The sea can be rough at times and the sunset trip is 75 miles round trip. I recommend taking motion sickness medicine. Other than that the trip was worth the beautiful views. And again I can't mention how friendly and caring the crew was! A+! Also, plan to get wet! They do warn you but I was soaked from hanging by the railings but I had a blast.

Wonderful experience with Captain Joe and his Crew ( JR, and 2 girls….lost their name) .There was nothing you Can miss on this trip. Everytime anybody of the Crew help you with Everything. Bring water, cookies, help people walking on deck with rough sea….!We saw Dolphins 2 times swimming with us! Snorkling wasnt the best view, but it was because of the weather…nevermind….saw turtels and fishes…so it was ok ✌?Nice information about the napali cost, the places and the history of Kauai/ Hawaii.Thought it would be a hard trip cause of the weather, but the Captain and his crew did a wonderful job to have a beautiful time on the catamaran. Nice food for breakfast and lunch…and enough drinks on the bar ???Its definatly worth it. Thanks for this experiance! Mahalo and Aloooooohaaa!

Best experience!!! The crew was fabulous! I went on a referral, and thankfully, it was a good one. The crew, J-Sea, Naya, and Luke (aka Bradley Cooper) are awesome, friendly, fun, attentive, and always happy. I was on a girls' trip with friends, and we had a perfect evening being served and entertained. I would definitely recommend this cruise to everyone looking for a fun time with perfect views of the Napali Coast.

What a great experience! I don't even know where to start. First and foremost me and my family wanted to say big thank you to the crew - Nicole, Mikaela, JR and captain Cole! They were so amazing - knowledgeable, courteous, super friendly and funny. I would recommend this tour just because of them! But of course that is not all, on our tour we saw different dolphins, some fish when we went snorkeling and turtles in the distance. Learned some history of the Kauai island and saw beautiful coast line! On the way back we had some food and did some drinking while tackling some waves- daughter loved this part especially -got soaked:)) if you love nature, being on a boat and you like great company - you need to take this tour - you won't regret it!!!

The views were amazing, and the water was crystal clear. We saw dolphins, turtles, fish, an eel and the most incredible coast God ever created.Captain Elia, Ruby, JR and Mikaela did a great job keeping us safe on our adventure. Captain Elia and Ruby went out of their way to keep our son entertained on the boat, while Mikaela talked to him about the fish we saw while we were snorkeling.We were on island a week, and this was our favorite of many great experiences!

This tour was a great culmination to our vacation in Hawaii on the last day before flying out. The views and the experience were fantastic!It started off by a leisurely tour around the southwest corner of the island then up along the beautiful coast until they found a calmer spot where they set the anchor and allowed all of us off for a swim or snorkeling.The swim was beautiful in the water with a perfect temperature. A convenient seat was laid out in the water behind the boat where people could just rest and enjoy their legs in the water, a slide into the water and even a place to jump and dive off the ship. Snorkeling gear and noodles were also provided. It was pretty idyllic...The scenery of the Napali was awesome and the photo opportunities were great, whether with backdrops of the beautiful coastline, the sunset, or just the open area - or really all of the above.Food and Mai-tais were provided on the way back before enjoying the sunset, just before returning to portThe crew was very friendly and helpful, Nicole reached out to us many times and helped in many ways - thank you Nicole!

Unforgettable Memories Made. Awesome adventure at Blue Dolphin ChartersCaptain Joe and his team was just amazing. Naya was just everywhere making sure everyone was okay. Kevin was rocking it with the food and booze to keep everyone happy. Thank you Matt for sharing your school experience with my young high schooler! The entire team was just the nicest people I've met.The noon excursion was designed to include sunset before returning so it can take 5-6 hours min depending on the time of year taken. I've seen stupid reviews complaining they missed their flight because of that? Lol I call that poor planning. Anyway... The Snorkeling was awesome, clear visibility and getting to slide off the yacht was fun. We had few waterfall stops where we actually get to have it fall on us thanks to the captain's mad skills.The ride does get bumpy time to time and if you have weak stomach you can get seasick. Listen to the crew and take their advices. Be safe and have fun!

Captain Joe and crew were amazing. We truly enjoyed the trip. They did a great job of taking us to a beautiful snorkel spot and explained a lot of the island history and locations. They made the trip great!

We had a fantastic Napali Coast Tour with Captain Nate, Mia, Luke, and CJ. The catamaran was smooth and we loved bouncing through the waves as we headed up the coast. The captain told us a lot of information about the places we were passing on the shore and about Hawaiian history and myths.Breakfast was cinnamon rolls, fresh tropical fruit, and coffee or juice.The coast is gorgeous and we saw an enormous pod of spinner dolphins. After touring the coast, we returned to a snorkel spot and saw several fish. Most of the fish in this area hang hang around the aft portion of the boat. There is a fun waterslide to play on if you are done snorkeling.After snorkeling, lunch was served. The choices were pulled pork or a turkey wrap with chips, Cole slaw, and pineapple. Mai Tais and beer were available and cookies were served as we neared the harbor.A fantastic trip with a fantastic crew!

Had so much fun on the Sunset Cruise. Capt. J Sea and her crew were all awesome. The boat ride was definitely rough but we always felt safe. Lots of folks on the boat got seasick but the crew was prepared and handled it gracefully. Be prepared to get splashed! I wish I had brought a towel but it probably would have just gotten soaked anyway.Truly the only thing I was bummed about is that at times it was difficult to hear the "tour" part over the loudspeaker because of the wind and boat noise. That didn't take away from the spectacular views and fun of the journey.The food was better than I was expecting. All in all I felt like the charter was worth the price and would highly recommend for anyone looking to do something adventurous during their trip to Kauai.
