Travel nurse that needed a part, the part failed within a month of placement and of the $1400 it cost me after months of arguing back and forth was reimbursed $200 after shipping him the faulty part back. Hopefully he doesn’t place it in another persons car. I wanted to like and trust this place but I felt taken advantage of and scammed. Redid the whole work up and fix up elsewhere and costed me $400 total and my car has been great since. Just wish I hadn’t wasted $1400 with south Kona car care in the first place if I had known I would have to pay elsewhere to get the whole part and job redone.

Love this place, Ioved from Pahoa and thought it would be hard to find a good mechanic, passed this place and decided to stop on the way back because I heard a weird noise coming from from my wheel, the mechanic made a appointment to come back and when I came in the machanic knew exactly what it was was ,he fixed it and Ithe next morning and get my truck back fixed, the only place I will go! And their always busy which is a good sign to me!

They charged me over $100 for an oil change. When I tried to argue against it they had excuses about using 'nice oil'. They completely took advantage of me because I'm a young woman who's not knowledgable in cars. Terrible service I will never be going back there again.Service: Oil change

Pat took such good care of me! My starter stopped working at Konhoniki and he knew exactly what was wrong without even looking at the car. Then as I was paying after he replaced it, he had gotten a discount on starter so he passed the savings on to me. Amazing service, plenty of Aloha, I would highly recommend them!
