If you are looking for a fun and educational experience on The Big Island of Hawaii, reserve your spot to visit the small, family run, Kuaiwi Farm. Leon & Una are the wonderful hosts who kindly invite you into their own home to share their life on their beautiful farm. You will see tomatoes on a tree, oranges, sugar cane, macadamia nuts, coffee, bananas, cinnamon, cacao, beautiful flowers, a fun loving house cat, chickens, & more!! On their own personal lanai you will meet and join other attendees to sample some of their very own coffee, chocolate, bananas, and more! At the end of the tour you will have the chance to buy some of their products and their own Kuaiwi t-shirts. Leon & Una made it fun and informative, and are so gracious in sharing their story and the farm. Don’t miss this opportunity!!

This is such an amazing tour, the best on the island. Learning about the organic practices used and history of hawaii agriculture is so interesting. The kids even had a scavenger hunt, and of course the chocolate and snacks were amazing. Truly the best farm you could possibly visit.

One of the top highlights of our Hawaii adventures. Fantastic family-owned, certified, organic farm. The farm is run and farmed by a wonderful couple that open up their private home and farm to a small group for a priceless 2-hour tour. Una guides you through the farm and gives such an educational, informative tour. She also gives her guests samples of everything along the way...sugar cane, tree tomatoes, oranges, cinnamon stem from the leaf, cacao, macadamia nuts, apple bananas and more. At the end of the tour, Una and Leon serve guests coffee on their personal lanai made from their own farm-grown coffee - the best coffee we had on the Island! What a delightful treat! Definitely carve out 2 hours for this tour.

This is the best farm tour we’ve taken on the Island. Una & Leon were great hosts and the amount of information packed into the experience of walking around the farm was exceptional!! All in all a wonderful excursion to taste and learn about excellent Kona coffee.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing one of the most exceptional farm tours. Una and Leon were incredibly hospitable and friendly guides. As we strolled through the farm, they shared fascinating insights about various plants. Later, we were warmly invited into their home’s lanai, where we savored delightful chocolate, banana, and coffee. I wholeheartedly recommend this memorable experience!

An eye opening farm tour with some of the nicest owners ever.We got to sample so many different new flavors that were so refreshing and unique. Cacao, coffee, chocolate, macadamia nuts, tomatoes, apple bananas, etc. were just some of the treats we got to enjoy on this lovely tour. Highly recommended!

Beautiful farm, warm and welcoming with plenty of samples. The coffee served was exquisite and worth the visit. Our host was knowledgeable about the island, agriculture and history of the land.

Una and her husband are delightful, the tour of their farm is great and you get to see some fruits and other plants, not just coffee.Una will send a map, use it! It’s very accurate and you shouldn’t have issues finding the place if you actually follow directions. Be respectful of their business, don’t try cutting or plucking leaves, coffee or fruit.Reservations are required, do that ahead of time! This is private property so don’t try showing up without one.Their coffee is definitely one of the best I’ve ever tried. We bought 3 bags! Their chocolate is also amazing, I bought 3 bars. They’ll give you a sampling of coffee, chocolate and possibly fruit grown on their property.

My husband and I went on a farm tour today and LOVED it. We learned a ton and have a whole new appreciation for the work that goes into making high quality coffee. This is a family farm, and the tour is run by the owners. They share their knowledge and bites of their crops on the tour. It’s clear their farm is a labor of love and it was delightful to get to experience it.
