They only have regular unleaded gas now - not diesel or E-free. They offer Mexican food, but I didn't try it. They never should have painted over the pink with white. It was an icon.

Used to be a great place to get Mexican specialties. Now... they don't want to assist people with food, it's pre-packaged, and the selection has decreased. It's almost like walking into a convenience store.Very disappointing and sad to see such a deterioration in a really good place to eat.

This is a go to for tasty mexican food and healthy portions on your way to 2 step! All the meats, salsa, ceviche, tacos, burritos, chili relleno, etc etc is legit, large portions, and very tasty!!

Stopped here on a whim and couldn't be more glad I did. Had the best chile relleno I've eaten for years with probably the nicest view from a picnic table I've ever had.Service was kind and clearly put love into the food. As authentic as anything I've eaten in California, Baja or otherwise--and it came out piping hot, with fresh tortillas, like it would in a real cantina.Grabbed a few Pulparindos for dessert and left one very satisfied customer. Never thought I'd say this, but I seriously cannot wait to stop at this gas station for lunch again.

We’ve had food from the best reviewed restaurants in Kona but this gas station Mexican food tops all of it!! Definitely worth a stop ??

Tamales Tamales Tamales.They're all really really goodShhhh. The cheese ones outta site !Cuz I ate em all !!!!Handmade from scratch authentic goodness. My buddy had burrito and say its The bomb. I always get the Tamales. They have other things also soda candy snacks water ect. But did I say Tamales Tamales Tamales!?Well just to be sure ..Tamales Tamales Tamales.

I came here with my family, while we were looking for lunch. We saw a restaurant and decided to stop by. The staff were extremely kind and respectful, and the food was what Mexican food should taste like. There were picnic tables available, and the wait for food was 2-3 minutes. I would highly suggest this roadside service. Also they had gas, and like no restaurants have that! Exquisitely flavored food along with a variety of food and drinks like a mini grocery store! 5/5 Stars for sure.

In the nick of time for stomach fuel ? This is the perfect stop for some quick market Mexican grub with a surprising large menu. Friendly family staff with lots of supporting locals. All the candy, snacks, frozen treats and cold bevs you would expect and supporting lots of additional Latin food and treats. Great stop on your journey along the west island coast ?
