Went there to renew my passport, they got me in very quickly as a Walk-in and helped me with every step of the process. Amazing experience, Mahalo!

I’m surprised to see such low ratings, but seems to be in part due to frustrations with passport service and a particular associate.
The three female associates working here have always been so sweet and patient. The line usually moves fast.
My only issue here had been with the one associate who has been mentioned a few times already in other reviews. I can say I have also experienced this associate’s condescension, which in my cases had to do with my package being too small, as I was told, and then another time my self-printed label being too small. Here I thought I’d be more economical with resources. ??♀️ I’d never before been told my items were too small for mailing. Another time I was lectured on what may happen if I was shipping non-media items with a media label, even when I acknowledged I was shipping qualifying items (a bunch of CDs).

I was told by the staff there that my U.S Passport renewal application cannot be accepted/interviewed by this Aiea Post Office because my address is out-state- address and that they only accept Hawaii mailing address. They told me I can submit on-line. How true is this?????
The staffs there seems so confused. One staff says to call a 1-800 number to get more info and the other staff says it cannot be accepted. GET IT TOGETHER FOR CHRIST SAKE!!!! According to USPS any state or U.S Territories, Guam, Puerto Rico. Virgin Islands, CNMI, American Samoa U.S renewal passport applications cannot be discriminated by this U.S. Post Office in Aiea, Hawaii.

The counter folks are super nice at this branch. Indoor PO boxes. Drive through drop. Convenient in central Aiea.

It truly upsets me to give this location a 1 star as the ladies I've encountered here were wonderful... however the man that works here is the nastiest postal worker I have ever encountered in my life. Taking a look at some other 1 star reviews, I can see I wasn't the only one that experienced this. The one man that works at this location was extremely rude and downright threatening. He spoke in a very belittling tone, got upset when I declined the more expensive services and threatened my packages would be left behind (literally he said if the airplane fills up your boxes are going to be LEFT BEHIND. who says that??)and was tapping his screen so hard with obvious irritation that the monitor was jerking back. So disgusting! All I was doing was utilizing the service which no other postal member had made me feel bad about but this man was so bothered to just do his job. I didn't come in last minute, I didn't give any attitude, and I waited my turn and answered any questions directed at me but he was do upset presumably because my packages were bigger and heavier. He also told me in a very condescending tone that addresses should not be written on the top of the box where the flaps are but on the side instead but all the usps flat rate boxes have addresses on the flaps so what is that about?I hope he quits soon as I love everyone else that works at this location other then this miserable man as this experience has genuinely made me feel like this location should be avoided at all costs. And just in case there is more then one man at this location it's the guy who is losing hair and has a barcode patterned comb over. Seriously please go get some anger management classes or spend some time touching grass. Maybe it will help you realize visitors and customers are not your enemy and are just trying to get on with their lives.

Showed up at 12:00 pm Saturday, line out the door, and the USPS worker standing outside said they weren’t taking anymore people and said they were closed and I asked what time they closed she said 12:00pm. USPS website said they closed at 12:30pm. They need to update their website info or she shouldn’t have lied about when they closed.

The girls there are very sasy and rude. I only asked one question about if I could wait in my car right outside the window in the first parking stall and they gave me attitude right away. Then after waiting over an hour, they took a family with an appointment early just so they could make me wait longerI don't know what I did to deserve this, but they made my passport application process a long and frustrating process that lasted over 2 hours

The lady who takes care of the passport application did not even know what she's doing, like doesn't USPS management certify their associates to take care of federal documents? I received a mail stating that I have not provided the original proof of naturalization. That should have been checked by her initially. Now, I am not sure if I should reply to the mail and send my original proof of naturalization or get an appointment from Ala Moana that they can't guarantee if I would get one. It's so frustrating when associates don't fo these things properly, especially I would pay another shipping to send my document after I just spent USPS the processing fees.

I thought I did a review here but I had to mail some bills out for my mother in law here and had to purchase two books of stamps for her. There wasn't a long line when I went on a Saturday afternoon which was great. I thought there would be a line. The lady helping me was super nice and helpful. I got the regular stamps with the flags and the flower design one. It totally probably around $25. Plenty of parking up front. No issues there but I go here since it's closer.
