I purchased the Kalo mat and a jersey swaddle blanket for my nephew and i was truly surprised by the quality of the material and attention to detail. I would highly recommend for this alone and the ease of service.

Being born and raised in Maui, I wanted my son to wear clothes that represented our culture. The Keiki Dept. does a beautiful job representing our culture through kids clothing. It just hits different seeing my son wear local clothing instead of things I could by from target. This brand is a hidden gem!

About The Keiki Dept
The Keiki Dept. is owned and operated by Leilani, a Native Hawaiian Māmā of five.
After the birth of her son, Leilani started to create locally inspired clothing and accessories that was durable enough to handle everyday play. This passion project slowly evolved as her ʻohana grew and their needs changed.
Based in ʻAiea, Hawaiʻi, The Keiki Dept.’s mission is to share knowledge of Hawaiian culture through their products and give back to their local community. This year, The Keiki Dept. will continue to donate to organizations that provide services to both keiki and ʻohana across the islands.
