Needed some alterations done on three of my husband's items. There is a same day extra charge, but it was worth it. Came in a half hour before the promised time, and it was already finished. He was very satisfied and would definitely come back again.

I just finished my third visit here for alterations (my wife came along this time) and I couldn't be more pleased with my experiences! Attention to detail, enthusiastic help with fitting, and high praise for how you look in your clothes are all things you can expect from Kim. Definitely a great experience. (Pictured: Kim took a suit that was way to baggy and made it fit me perfectly)

Friendly, reasonable and my items were ready in a couple of days. I dropped off a large, heavy furniture cover and it was only $35 to send for dry cleaning.

Do not bring your clothes for dry cleaning here. They will give your clothes to someone else and ask you to wait 2 weeks to see if some unknown person will return your clothes. They won't be proactive to find your clothes. They will ask you to wait and hope that someone will return a free expensive silk shirt on their own volition. Apparently they mix up clothes often because they said people usually realize they have the wrong clothes in 2 weeks.

I can't tell you how much I love Ken's cleaners. I was referred by my Dad, he takes all his dry cleaning laundry & bedding's here . Super fast & super friendly. Conveniently located in Aiea next to Flowers by Carole! I grew up in AIEA,I believe in supporting LOCAL ,This is how we keep our neighborhood alive & thriving .

My experience on Base (NOT KENS): I thought taking my military dress jacket for alteration was safe on base, but when I asked the shop on JBPHH to not sew the arm patch into the silk liner they refused. Said that they would not separate the inner/outer sleeve and it would still be 70$ to put the patch on. My experience with KENS: So, I looked around. I called Ken's and asked if they would put the patch on and do it without sewing into the inner layer of the jacket. When you sew a patch into the inner layer it pulls the fabric and makes it look and feel weird. They said no problem. It's more work, but they promised to separate the layers before putting the patch on. She would also extend both sleeves. Jacket was ready the following week. Total cost: $54.00. I'll never take a uniform to base again.

I needed to shorten the sleeves on my leather jacket. Not an easy task dealing with leather, but it came out perfect and I waited only about a week. Fyi, it seemed like they'd do a leather job on a case by case basis depending on the complexity, so I'm not guaranteeing here that they'd accept every request. If they do take it though, it'll be an awesome result.

I had to purchase a suit from a thrift store and got it tailored here. The service was great, clear, communication, and the price was very fair - speedy service and I enjoyed the final product.
