I recently had a very disappointing experience at this location (Pearlridge) which has completely turned me off from ever making a purchase from this chain again. From the moment I stepped into the store, the level of professionalism was shockingly low. The first associate I interacted with was not only rude but also unprofessional, lacking even the basic courtesy of wearing a name tag for identification. This made it difficult for me to address my concerns to the management later on.The crux of my visit was to inquire about a repair, which, according to my understanding, was covered under a diamond/gemstone guarantee. However, the associate berated me for not having a warranty, which was entirely irrelevant to my situation. Their tone was condescending, making me feel uncomfortable and disrespected. I expected better from a reputable brand.Hoping for clarity and assistance, I turned to the store manager, only to be met with further disappointment. It became evident quickly that the manager was not well-versed in the store’s policies regarding guarantees and attempted to charge me for the repair that should have been at no cost. This lack of knowledge and attempt to impose unnecessary charges is unacceptable for a store that prides itself on customer satisfaction and integrity.The entire ordeal was frustrating and left me feeling undervalued as a customer. The attitude displayed by the staff and the evident lack of product and policy knowledge were appalling. It’s clear that customer service is not a priority at this location, and perhaps, by extension, the Kay’s Jewelry brand as a whole.I strongly advise potential customers to think twice before visiting this store or any affiliated with Kay’s. There are plenty of other jewelry stores that offer not only quality products but also the respect and professional service that every customer deserves. I, for one, will not be making any future purchases from Kay’s Jewelry.

Really appreciate the hard working sales associate named Connie. She was so helpful with getting the gift my bf bought for me for my birthday. She did everything in her power to get me those earrings as it was limited due to it being a very popular gift for the holidays. She made sure to follow up on if we successfully received it and if it was what we expected and it is very appreciated.The staff of this store is very proactive and helpful when it comes to their customers. Their manager Marcus helped us out as well when Connie wasn’t in store.

I have shopped with Kays since 2003. It has always been my go to jewlery store. And this is the first time I have been yelled at and treated so disrepectfully, discriminated against, and told wrong information about my return/exchange options. When asked she told me her name was Kalei (Pearlridge branch- incident 1/7/24). She was wearing no name badge. She said she has worked for Kays for 6 years and knows the policy. She rudely asked who sold me the earrings. I said her name (Beautiful...) and that I understood when purchasing that the warranty would not cover stone replacement, so I didn't buy it. Nor did I come in asking for a return. I came in asking for help regarding a pair of birthstone earrings I bought my daughter for christmas 2023. I explained to her the story of how she wore it ONLY 1 day, DID NOT sleep in them (like she suggested) and by the end of the day a small stone was missing? She didn't ask to see the earrings, or the receipt and just said you cannot return/exchange. The earrings are not defective, thus suggesting it was somehow my fault. She said your options are to buy a new pair or pay approx. $89 something for the stone replacement and then buy the warranty as this happens all the time!!! First off, I came in asking her kindly about no return/exchange, as I didn't think I had the option because a stone was missing. I asked how I could place the birthstone in another earring stud setting so it doesn't happen again. She repeated herself multiple times to the above options. Then showed me a different pair of stud birthstone earrings I could buy? She kept saying it was too expensive to do as I asked. I asked her why she was being so rude, that it seems we were missunderstanding one another, then she said I was rude and was cutting her off??? I asked for a manager and she said that was Marcus and he was not at work today. She started berating me and yelling at me saying I was the one who was rude. I had to walk away as she continued to yell at me...I walked out the store in shoke with her unprofessional, very aggressive attitude and behavior. I later called Kays and chatted with an Ebony C. about getting the earrings fixed in a different setting and what the cost would be. She told me that I could still return/exchange the earrings, holiday policy until 1/24/24. She said it has to be done in a Kays store and it would be best to go in when a manager was present to avoid this kind of situation with Kalei. She said Kay's prides themself on customer service and she was very sorry for what I just went through. Ebony C. and Beautiful were amazing people along with my past other dealings with associates until now. Please look into this manner and formally write up Kalei regarding this situation. There is nothing worst than being treated like dirt, trying to be sold something you don't want, and not being told the truth about a store policy. Sorry this had to be a negative review. I hope things can resolve. I feel others should know which is why I am posting my story.

Marcus and Kamalli were amazing to work with in finding the perfect ring. They are patient, welcoming and extremely knowledgeable.The selection at this Kay’s location is over the top. We flew over spontaneously inter island to take a look at a ring I saw online. I ended up getting a different ring which I am so happy with. It is absolutely beautiful and so sparkly. Marcus was able to have my ring sized and I went home with it the next day! The experience was absolutely perfect and Marcus and staff are top notch!

The staff at the Kay Jewelers at the pearlridge mall is very knowledgeable and friendly. They go above and beyond to make sure our shopping experience will be a memorable experience. Highly recommend Kay Jewelers for all your jewelry needs

Today 7/18/2023I went to Kay’s Jewelers today andpurchased a beautiful diamond enhancer to go with my princess cut wedding ring.Marcus did an amazing job assisting me with which diamond enhancer would go best with my ring. I love his knowledge about Diamonds. The displays of all the jewelry are beautiful.My wife bought my princess cut from Marcus 5 years ago. He’s very friendly and gives outstanding customer service to his customers.Thank you Marcus for all you do. I appreciate you very much.I’ll definitely be back ?

Connie made my wedding ring of my dreams for our vow renewal with the help of Bruce bringing it to reality!! It is everything and more!! To say I am happy is an understatement!! It is my dream ring made into reality for our vow renewal!! I can't stop staring at it and neither can everyone else! :)

Beauty at Pearlridge Kay was very kind and welcoming even when just browsing. So much so that I ended up coming back the next day just to purchase with her at her location. She explained the benefits of the Vault program and made sure I felt confident in my purchase. Beauty is definitely an asset and I hope to see her when it’s time to purchase wedding pieces.
