I'd give zero stars if I could. I've used H&R software with no problems. But this year our taxes were more complicated so I had a "professional" at H&R do it. The person screwed up our taxes. Then our amended taxes were never received by the state. For some reason the taxes are not available on my online account so someone tried to e-file but now we are having problems that require tech support. This process has now taken longer than just filing myself, what I would give to go back. And not one real apology from the company. I will never use this company again for anything.

Charlene was very rude and also openly gossiped about other customers. Don't go to Charlene if you want to keep your personal information private

Not sure what happened this year but it was AWFUL! Dropped my physical documents at the beginning of April with my usual tax pro Bennadine. Didn't get a call or any sort of communication.. Called the evening of April 17th wondering if they had been completed or if I needed to file for an extension, but no one answered so I left a message.TAX DAY- I called first thing in the morning, receptionist said it looked like I was "on the list to be called back today". Still no call...So i followed up before they closed that evening, was told "she'd let Bennadine know that I called again."April 19th- Tried to call again but was diverted to the Pear Kai office and was told that now the Kailua office was closed, so the documents from them would be transferred to them next Weds. No answer as to why I hadn't been told my taxes wouldn't be done in time.April 27th (the next Thurs)-I called the office again. Was told that they actually weren't getting the Kailua office documents and to call the other town offices the next day.April 28th- Called the Ala moana office, told "call Dillingham tomorrow"April 29th-12:07pm Called Dillingham, was told I would get a call back. 6:00pm..still no call so I called them, so I tried to call but found out that they would be closed until the following Tuesday!!(left message).May 2nd (Tuesday)-still no call so I called @12:45pm. Talked with Charlene (a manager) and she said she would look for my documents at Dillingham and also Ala Moana but she needed a day or two.May 3rd- I got a text at 11:58am saying I had a phone appt at 2:45pm (thought someone had finally figured it out!) Nope.waited.....waited... no call.So I called around 4pm and got ahold of Ling Ling, she put me on hold and found my documents (within 10mins) and said she would do my taxes. While I was on the phone with her Charlene called and left a voicemail saying they still couldn't find my documents.No one had the decency to call me and give me an update, or even to let me know that they wouldn't be done in time, AND I had to pay almost $600. Talk about frustrating. I was at the point of tears at one point not knowing why I had been blacklisted.Ling Ling was the only person who actually helped me, but here we are almost a month later and just now filing my taxes with NO answers about what had happened.

Trina literally made me cry. What happened to treating customers with kindness. She is the straw that broke the camera back, along with a few other reasons, h&r block won't have me as a customer again. I wanted to trust this company, but the last couple years have proved that I wasted the money.

Waited an extra 30 minutes for my appointment just to have the lady over talk me and not let me speak. why have appointments if people walking in are helped first.

Terrible customer service. I called several times over the past few days & left messages to make an appointment for my mom, but received no response as of today.They need to have a real person answering their phones, not a computer.C'mon people, represent your company with some pride & professionalism......just saying

I had to pay H&R Block $536 for their services and I got a federal return of $484, so I'm negative. I have to find a cheaper place next time.

People choose to go to H&R over other less costly tax preparers for the promised quality work and customer service. I received the complete opposite of both!! There were mistakes on Luanne's part and not only did she not own up to it not once did she apologize for anything. Luanne has absolutely no idea what customer service is and she feels no remorse for messing with people's lives and taxes! First off she does my husband's taxes and files him as single and then tries to blame it on him for putting that in the paper work... funny thing is I'm the one who filled out the paper work and I put married filing separate. So now it has to be amended, but she's not sorry about that and won't admit it's due to her rushing and doing a half *** job! If your so busy that you can't provide quality work then don't take on more then you can handle and then take it out on the customer. Now... with my taxes she says they are done asks for the email to send it to I give her the email. Later I find out it goes to another email not the one I gave her. So I have to search for it. I pick up my papers because I need them for something else and then when I go to accept me taxes they are withdrawn. Okay... so I call and leave a message Luanne does not call me back. I call again find out they have to redo it cause I picked up my own paper work. I call back a week later leave a message for Luanne again she doesn't call back, so I call back again she answers and she is so Rude I tell her I'm not sure why she withdrew my takes and she goes "look I'm not going to go back and forth with you about this I have other clients" I'm like wow okay I tell her your being rude and she said your rude you get what you give. From the start she messed up and wouldn't admit it and has an attitude because I'm asking her to communicate with me or keep me in the loop about what is going on I shouldn't have to wait for a week to get a call back and then get attitude when I do call to see what is going on. To sum it up all up I ask for the manager she says she is the manager then I ask for her manager, she basically hangs up on me. This should not be allowed. You cannot conduct business like this I will be taking this to corporate and better business bureau. She has waisted over a month of my time and did not get my taxes done and messed up my husbands leaving this mess for us to clean up! Her lack of communication and rudeness is unacceptable and is giving H&R a bad name

Charlene and co-workers are very good. Cost is getting high though.
