Especially with the many Native Hawaiians, living in diaspora, due to rising costs of housing and living, we have many opportunities to not just support local businesses but to support Native Hawaiian businesses. Homegrown offers a venue for supporting many Native Hawaiian businesses who many not have the start up ability to establish their own shop. Easy one stop shop for lots of different authentic Hawaiian gifts, household needs, clothes, accessories. While all of these separate businesses may have their own website, Homegrown allows you the opportunity to see these items up close and try on clothes before purchase. Since most of these businesses are not just Native Hawaiian but also offer items made in Hawaii, rather than outsourcing, some items may cost more than the average but I find that they're still reasonable.

Their inventory of things made in Hawai’i is quite impressive. The Aloha print clothing is well made and I also love the designs. The t-shirts are also my favorite designs.

4 different families. Was planning on buying majority of family clothing from store. Called to speak to lady that helped me prior just to get an ATTITUDE from the manager there who told me "I can help you if you drop the attitude". WOW! YOUR ATTITUDE AND COMMENT WAS OUT OF LINE ESPECIALLY TO CUSTOMERs WHO YOU SHOULD APPRECIATE and want to "support local". Haunting Halloween!!!

The best store in PearlRidge. I always stop by when I'm visiting- its a mini Made In Hawaii festival without the crowds. Take your time and look around, you'll find all kine stuff- clothes (palaka of every color), jewelry, cute bags, kids stuff, toys, books, snacks, kitchen, tshirts, quality stuff. And if you're in town playing tourist like me, hop on the rail (skyline) at Halawa, take the scenic ride to kapolei and back and get off at PearlRidge on the way back to do a little shopping. Buy and load your Holo card at the station. Another souvenir.

This is my go-to store for all things local made and kanaka-supportive! Ku'ulei and 'ohana are amazing pono people who are involved with keiki entrepreneurship! Plus Homegrown has the cutest EVERYTHING! It's like a Made in Hawai'i in a store! I get ALL my Xmas shopping done in one stop! 10/10 recommend!

This store carries the culture of Hawaii from childhood toys, t-shirts, old items from 1970s exclusive to Hawaii. An example is a paper made yellowish portfolio that cost 10 cents to hold blank paper on one side and homework on the other side. For us poor families, that was a great help with nine kids. My mom gave me five and made it last throughout the year by taping it. They have jewelry, stickers, wooden signs and bags. This store is worth going in. Remember the fashions are like a small boutique with a mean overhead. Th we y will be opening a huge store on first level of Pearlridge Uptown across from Razors. Watch out, you can easily drop $100-$300 in 5-10 minutes. I dropped close to $60. I int NF to com back for other items. They have a rewards program, 1 point every $25...and rewarded 10% or more off your next item? 20 points is a reward...so, $500 will get 20 pts. Have fun...Ciao!

If you are looking for "Hawaiʻi" stuff that is more authentic locals like, this is the place. I was on the hunt for palaka and they had it. I wanted pīkake, pakalana, and puakenikeni aroma items, they had it. Cute earrings selection as well.

Usually love bringing my family to this store, & usually always get good customer service. But today was not it, my cousins who flew down from kona wanted to go shopping and decided to go there, One guy im assuming was maybe a supervisor or someone up there was the only one who greeted everyone and was asking ppl if they needed help, and who also told us about the "sale rack" right by the door. My cousin had about 4 shirts in hand and was looking at that rack when 2 of the women workers came rushing to the door like we were going to walk out with the items. One of them had an attitude and said ALOHA ARE YOU PLANNING ON PURCHASING THOSE in her sassy tone. So my cousin gladly gives it to her and says yes, but you can take it to the reg if you think we're gonna steal. And she takes it and continues to side eye us the whole time in the store. Finally head to the register & doesnt greet us, nothing. Just asks "cash or card". No personality at all! Hope she felt crappy after spending around $100 on shirts. But LOCAL STORE, AND NO ALOHA. Dont work there if thats the case. Accusing the wrong ppl.

From the ocean to the mountains, the beautiful blue skies and all the plants and trees...our beautiful state of Hawai'i is expressed here in Homegrown. Located on the ground level in the Pearlridge Center Uptown Homegrown has something for everyone in your life. Clothing, hats, pillows, blankets, books, stickers, totes, and countless accessories. Many you know and have seen and many for me unfamiliar ones, all will be loved by locals for sure. As I shopped around each section...started with the bags of course was delighted to see some from Aloha and many more others with fun quotes that almost got me but had to resist, the to the back was a wall of pillows and blankets ohhhhmmmygawd!! Monstera, succulent and Kale how cute is that!!!?!...resisted...omg!!! though kept a mental check cause I know exactly who'd like that and would make a fabulous gift for sure! Then to the front of the store are some health and beauty items such as lotion, oils and soaps in various scents, reed diffuser from Jules + Gem and what caught my eye was a fish. Not just any fish FishBellies it's a fish shaped 100% cotton fabric sack filled with extra clean kernel corn from what it says due to it's large surface making it able to retain heat or cold for long period of time. Just microwave for heat or freeze for cold therapy and it's simply adorable! I did microwave as I wanted heat therapy and it did stay warm longer than other items I've used before. Not including the tail just the fish body size itself is about 10" and is filled just right to flop it onto any where that needs relief. I'm thrilled and love my fish though made in American not in Hawai'i but Maine. Well it's hella hot now so maybe I should throw it in the freezer for cold therapy lol! it's the cutest thing and is conveniently found here. Thank you!
