Really enjoyed my stay here! John and the staff were extremely friendly and accomodating and it was a fantastic value. The apartment also had a great view!

I really liked staying here. They're accommodating when you have multiple animals asks having a kitchen helps things. Staff was always nice and courtesy to me.

I feel really bad for giving this bad rating, because John was really nice. But this place is just so badly maintained. The cleaning is good, but the equipment and facilities are so old and used, that they are pretty rotten. We did not feel comfortable, rather disgusted and nor did anything seem hygienic. After one night, the toilet, which was broken overflowed all our things that unfortunately were still in the suitcases and backpacks on the ground, swimming in toilet water. We spend the next day doing the laundry and cleaning all our things. We were offered a new apartment, but we did not want to stay there any longer. Also there was no dish liquid, sponge, salt, pepper nor paper towels in the kitchen, which we had in all our other apartments, so we ended up buying and not needing in the new apartment. Which, by the way was not any more expensive than this one and much nicer, even the location. I don't think this is good value for the price.

Outstanding hotel for military TDY, PCS or people on extended stays. Convenient location. Less than 15 minutes to JBPHH, Ford Island, Camp Smith, Tripler and Fort Shafter. Friendly and responsive staff. Recently upgraded rooms with a full kitchen, appliances and cookware. One free parking spot included and street parking available. Laundry room. Pet friendly! Say hello to the cats.
Rooms: Rooms have been recently updated. Full size stove with oven, large refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker and microwave. Large dining room table. Separate bedrooms with locking doors.
Nearby activities: Two nearby shopping centers with restaurants, food trucks and several independent establishments. Near Aloha Stadium and swap meet.
Walkability: Pearlridge Center is 2 blocks away. Easy access to bus and rail stops.

I spent about 2 weeks here for work/business, and was debating a rating. Finally, I gave them 5 stars. For the price, which is significantly cheaper than most other hotels (especially in Waikiki), it is a good value. Just don't expect any luxury amenities. But for families and work groups that need a discounted place to stay, especially for very long trips, this place is good. Pretty clean and with a good, central location (away from traffic and close to shops and restaurants, and close to the Joint Base Pearl Harbor), if you're not looking for a luxury getaway, it is good. You get a kitchen and sleeping for up to 4 in each room. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There's even washers and dryers onsite.

I've stayed here 3 separate times and I've only received great service at Harbor Shores. They have high speed internet, TV's in every room and everything you need for a long term stay. Microwaves, a full refrigerator and plates with utensils to make my stay so much better. I will be staying here again when I leave the island. Thank you Harbor Shores for being so accommodating and attentive to everything that we may have needed. You're great!!!

If you’re military with kids and pets, this place is great! I stayed here coming to island in 2020, and again leaving this year. 2 bedroom 1 bath, living area and kitchen. They allow dogs and cats, no weight restrictions! I left with my 2 cats and my 80 pound Siberian / Malamute mix. They’re on the TLA list, centrally located to a decent amount of stuff, definitely give it a shot! Waikiki is crazy, everything is more expensive down there, save yourself the headache and book here where it’s calmer, quieter, and more convenient to get to stuff. Also John is super friendly and helpful, definitely helped make our stay enjoyable during COVID quarantine on arrival, and while leaving the island. Mahalo for everything!

Highly recommended for military personnel on TLA. One of the few hotels on Oahu that allow cats AND dogs, with parking included. In our case, we were able to stay under the TLA limit and also did not have to pay any amenity/pet fees out of pocket. Rooms are huge: a 2 bedroom suite with a small kitchen (with oven + stove) and a living room. The staff was very attentive, friendly, and accommodating. The Aiea location is also very convenient, being a relatively short commute (20-25 minutes) to Schofield, and 10 minutes to JBPHH (which also means easy access to the NEX and the Pearl Harbor Commissary, which are both fantastic). The neighborhood might look a little bit off-putting at first, but we got to be very comfortable pretty quickly. There are a lot of good food and shopping options in Aiea. This hotel was a great value for us.If you want to enjoy the perks of a "vacation" lifestyle on your TLA, then you are probably better off finding a place in Waikiki - however, that comes with extra costs that might not be covered by TLA (ex: parking, resort fees, pet fees, more expensive rooms, etc), significantly smaller rooms, extra travel time (and the horrific downtown traffic), having to deal with hordes of tourists, and overall higher cost of living (food and daily amenities are much more expensive in Waikiki).

We loved our stay here while we were pcsing out. We don’t like busy Waikiki and prefer a more stress free stay. I liked that we didn’t have to worry about finding a parking spot as you are assigned a spot and there is also street parking. The hotel was nice and quiet and clean even if it is outdated. The saltwater pool was always clean and never too busy! It was also the perfect depth for adults and kids, 3’-6’. I appreciated all the patio furniture with umbrellas for shade. This location was perfect for my husband commuting to hickam/camp smith and is very close to shopping. The hotel itself is safe and gated but surrounding areas are a little sketch but we are used to living on this side of the island. The laundry room was never busy and we were able to use their giant commercial dryers. The front desk can give you quarters. The rooms all have 2 bedrooms so the kids can have their own space and they have tvs in them. Loved the full kitchen so we could make all of our meals. I do wish they had a few more kitchen equipment to use such as cookie sheet, oven mitts, mixing bowls, measuring cups/spoons. The Lanai patio was large enough to store our stroller and many people stored their dog crates out there as well. The hotel is very large dog/pet friendly. They have the best staff working here and are so accommodating. They have made our last week in Hawaii very easy and I wished we had known about them when we first moved to Hawaii. You aren’t going to find better in Waikiki as far as hotels that take TLA with 2 bedrooms/free parking/no pet fees. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a relaxing vacation or to military families pcsing.
