Avoid this bank unless you're opening a new account or adding money to your account. If you are, they will treat you like royalty. However, if you dare to close an account - good luck to you. I made an appointment and waited over 25 minutes before being helped. Why insist on appointments if you're not available at the appointment time? I'll never have to worry about waiting again because I closed all my accounts at First Hawaiian Bank!

Why don’t you have someone assisting customers during your lunch breaks. You should always have someone here to help during lunch hour. This is ridiculous. Also for such a large branch like Pearlridge, you should have a notary on duty everyday. I can’t believe that with all the employees that you have that you can’t even have a notary at this branch. Lose money!!!!!!

i deposited funds so i can wire money to pay off a loan. i asked the teller if i can come in on sat to wire money and was told yes. I went the following day to wire the money in advance to schedule a day after the hold on the check. i was told at the customer service side that you cannot schedule a wire in advance. so i asked again if i can come in on the following sat to do a wire transfer and was told yes. I walk in on sat and was told by the same customer service that they dont do wire transfer on sat. Now i have to take time off work .

Service is consistently SLOOOOOWWW. It is a struggle to get anything accomplished timely and their hours are very inconvenient for the average working person. Would not recommend if looking to deal with multiple accounts because simple transactions like deposits can take the upwards of an hour to complete.

This is the worst bank I have ever dealt with in my 50 years of banking. Their notary wanted to read all of our trust documents and other documents before she would notarize them for starters. She is not an attorney. That is not the job of a notary. It takes hours to get anything done, even when you schedule an appointment. You cannot get through to a human when you need one and they do not follow up or return calls. They are consistently rude and disrespectful. Go anywhere else for your banking needs.

The slowest . I do not recommend this place. People was just walking around and talking stories and didn't help anybody out. I waited about 45 min and made me late for my job. There was about 6 workers and only 2 workers were trying their best. And about 7 customers waiting and complaining

Pathetic! Worst customer service and the longest lines! Unless you got 30-40 minutes to wait in lines "where they are doing the best they can" Dont Go There!

The slowest of all banks. Avoid at all cost. I drive to the Kaneohe branches and they are much quicker and much more courteous. The tellers here at Pearl Ridge do not move with intention. They move at a slow grueling pace. I would not recommend coming to this branch at all costs. Each and every single time i have entered the doors, there has been at least 10 people standing in line. Every other branch seems to move much faster even when there are many in line. I'm not sure as to why the duration of my visit exceeds 30 minIf you have handicap or elderly family members, maybe best to leave in the car with someone or bring a wheelchair. The area is bare and doesn't accommodate unless you have business reasons and need to see a person in the cubicle.

This branch always has a long line. There's like 20+ people in line yet they only open 2 tellers?! Shouldn't have to wait 20 min in line to do a transaction.

Ridiculous wait time, when I approached the teller she said it's Monday...OK....everybody knows that about Monday? Why don't we have more tellers anticipating such a rush!!! 4 people left the line when I was in line and after I was helped 2 people followed me out the door! OH and let's not forget the lady who went to lunch!!! they just opened at 8:30AM too... Poor management of staff, customers time and service , because based from all the reviews it's an ongoing problem with no solution!

I don't have an account there yet but the Pearlridge FHB are very cordial and friendly. I do like their spacious ambience of decorated holiday settings. We do have loan there so we do have something to do with FHB

Doesn't matter which branch you go to. Slow, slow, painfully slow service and lines are always out the door. Horrible. I'm glad I don't bank here, but my husband's auto loan is financed thru FBH. I dread the 30th of the month every month. I stand in line 30-45min minimum each time. And if you don't have a checking acct, there is NO WAY to pay another way than in person. In the 21st century and dealing with this weak, outdated service is unnecessary.
