This DTE location offers some products that the Kaka'ako location does not have and I also notice some things are a little cheaper at this location by a few cents. Plus they have a ton of free parking. The deli workers and cashiers are always friendly and helpful. DTE is a great place to buy organic and wholesome groceries, produce, and food. I come here for their selection of local honey and to refill my gallon water bottles since they have a water dispenser with alkaline or purified water. They also sell affordable white mulberry tea. Depending on my cravings and the day I would check out their hot deli food or salad bar, DTE burger, or baked goods/donuts. Even if you're not a huge health freak or vegan this place has something for everyone.

Enjoyed my visit to this grocery store and the cafe side even more. The food was delicious and had so many healthy vegetarian options for us meat eaters. Will be returning soon.

I love Down to Earth and their healthy options. I always get either their Reuben Sandwich or their Beyond Burger. Both are great tasting. Don't forget to treat yourself to a vegan carob chip cookie . . . Delicious ?

good health organic store that is only vegetarian they do not sell meat products like Whole foods. Friendly staff. They have a variety of organic produce and vitamins/supplements. Their prices are kinda high but so is whole foods. I like getting their hot foods in their buffet style setup. Their lasagna, pancit, potatoes, chili are good and healthy. I also get their ezekiel bread and organic 'once again' brand peanut butter, way better than Jif or Skippy's. They also sell a lot of local produce from local farmers which is great that they support local kama'aina.

This review is about the workers at their Deli. There is a worker (fair-skinned Filipino Lady) who works there in the mornings. She has a bad unfriendly attitude towards me and other customers. She handled making the fries, rudely said show me the receipt for the fries, and when I showed her my receipt, she pushed the fries towards me and said nothing, not even a "thank you." I am appalled that Down to Earth hires workers like this, especially in their Deli area. I've been shopping there for 30+ years. This lady makes customers so uncomfortable, that people like me and my grandparents will not shop there anymore. They need to re-hire nicer people and train their staff with effective people skills. Not recommended to buy anything from their Deli with workers with an attitude like this. Try either the Down Town Down to Earth, Main Store in Town, or Kailua. Far better workers and great service at those stores.

Great service! The chicken mock wrap is delicious and so as their super smoothies. Plus you get to add stuff into it to boost your vitamins and energy! They have so many things I want to try. I need to come here more often.

Great spot and very clean. Regular here to refill my water jugs and grab an açaí / pitaya bowl with a cold press juice - normally order Alive or Beet juice drink.

I started coming here for vitamins during the pandemic and realized that prices aren't too bad. I sometimes go there to kill time and realize more and more that they have goodies are reasonable prices. Saturday I grabbed crackers to try since I had cheese at home.

I love this place but the food is expensive! This location is very nice and the workers are helpful. You can find all your veggie and organic needs here. They have one of my favorite salad bars and the hot food is pretty good as well. The bakery makes the most delicious blueberry scones if you can get them fresh out the oven.
