“After Googling for a tire repair shop, I was surprised to find Oahu Tire Service still in business and all along I thought they closed down soon after the owner (Ken) had passed away and their Mapunapuna Street shop closed up completely. But not so.
I called and asked the gentleman answering if he was the owner’s son. And yes, though he vaguely remembered me, I asked if he could repair my son’s tire that had a hex head machine screw puncture. He gave my son and I step by step instructions to see whether the screw punctured through by using soapy water dripped over the screw to see if it was leaking. And yes, it surely was, so he said to bring the vehicle in for the tire repair.
After arriving at their shop, I quickly recognised Earl and recall both his father, him and another worker used to provide 24/7 services when I used to work for the state Harbors Division. Earl mentioned that the other worker, grey haired person, was Robert’s father who worked with his father Ken. I recalled, Robert who was a very skinny person that used to do in house tire repair services while Robert’s father was the on the road tire repair service worker.
What made this experience most memorable was to see two generations fathers and sons still holding up the business. Looking into the mirror of my past experiences dealing with Oahu Tire Service, I will continue doing business with them, as they are good honest and dependable hard workers

“So grateful for Quick Lube and Tech!! They got my car in same-day and had my car diagnosed, parts ordered, and repaired within 3.5 hours. I had issues with my engine overheating, and after asking some questions and taking a look, they knew very quickly from the evidence of rust that my reservoir was dumping water into the system. Once they were able to flush it and remove the part, they were able to see that the broken piece was getting stuck in the open position, meaning their quick diagnosis was on the money. “What a pleasant experience at PCAW (Pearl City Auto Works). I had 2 electrical problems with my vehicle which required a partial disassembly of the dash. PCAW correctly identified the cause of the electrical problem and corrected the problem and reassembled the dash to its original condition using great care as my vehicle was a 2000 Ranger and the clips etc. required extra care to prevent breaking. A special thank you goes to Shay for her assistance in scheduling my appointments and keeping me informed as to the arrival of parts needed and the status of the repairs to my truck. I will definitely be a return customer.”
