I like to support local/small businesses. However today I was very disappointed. I am sure by the previous reviews that Mr. Asao is a great instructor. But his club fitter, needs to learn a little bit more of customer service. Not welcoming, very standoffish. Came there for help in regripping the clubs, checking lofts/lie. And when I was unsure of grip size & what were the lie, seemed like a crime I didn't know. That's why I wanted to check what they were. I had lost the original assessment/specs that Taylormade Performance center had built my clubs to. I just wanted to check. Then we start to write up the ticket and says 3-4 business days! Wow! Maybe if he wasn't watching the Genesis he would be able to catch up. Sorry - Gave my business to another business.

Kellen was very knowledgeable and honest with his recommendations. He was able to build my set of clubs, re-shafting and altering specs as needed to personalise the fit. He met all the deadlines promised and was very personable with fabulous customer service. I would highly recommend his services as he is very skilled in what he does.

The golf instructor is friendly and very welcoming, but the idiot who does the repair of clubs is a arrogant asshole. Went there to get a quote for repair and with his stupid attitude will never go there again!!!

It would be a better place to do business if the attitude and service was much positive than arrogant. I just wanted to get my sticks checked for loft & lie adjustments as from past experiences with some manufactures don't exactly follow your order online. As an employee who deals with customers all day I realize that if you hate your job find one that will make you a better person everyday instead of being unhappy throughout.

Went in to check the loft/lie of used clubs I recently purchased. Kellen let me know the best way to do that was for a scheduled fitting. So, made an appt for a few days later. Once at appt, he had me in front of the track man, hit a few balls, and then he offered his ideas/thoughts. We agreed on what work was needed on the clubs and 3-4 days later clubs were ready for pick up. Will definitely be back for all my golfing needs! Awesome to get good quality service/work and at the same time support local!! Mahalo Kellen!

Went to see Kellen Asao once or twice to see if he could fix my dreaded "S" word that all golfers experience... (shank). Kellen is a very accomplished and elite golfer who made me feel extremely comfortable and NOT embarrassed at all during our lesson! He helped me a ton and honestly helped to improve my game by at least a few strokes! Whether you are a beginner or seasoned vet, I recommend Kellen for all demographics. Kellen isn't going to try and uproot your swing or make you feel silly, he offers suggestions while using high tech to come alongside the golfer to educate and aid! 10/10 recommend!

I was scheduled for an afternoon fitting to make adjustments to a new set of clubs that were ordered from the manufacturer. originally the clubs were custom fitted and ordered, but the clubs did not meet my previous yardage and needed some adjustments to the lie and loft. showed up at the appointment time and the apt. was not scheduled in, after confirming the time. come to find out and was not notified they could not adjust left handed clubs- an important bit of information that was left out. also the fitter was not present on site to the fitting. they told me to come back the following day to be fitted by Kellen.when i called to confirm the following day, i was told he was participating at the Mid-Pac tournament. and I was still not scheduled to be fitted the following day even though there was a verbal agreement from the prior day ( in person at the shop). this place was recommended by a friend as great place and professional. I would disagree, Kellen never reached out for an explanation of the disorder he caused.

Kellen fitted me for a driver. Had some great feedback on my current driver and where I could improve. Very professional, great pricing and customer service. I will use Asao Golf for all of my golf needs.

I called their just for to get general information for when we visit Hawaii again, my relatives live nearby. Whoever answers the phone, and older female , did not seem to want to work there or something. It was a humbug/drag to even ask questions at such a slow pace. Holy crap its like the twilight zone! Any brand other than callaway is what they have supposedly yet they advertise like they have it all. im so confused with all the crap they have for sale like flasks too..Do they have scrunchies for sale too? OMG they need to have a more professional presence because after my call, Im too confused to even go there. Im feeling like its a convenience store.
