I learned so much from the fabulous instructors. Even as a complete novice, I was able to create wearable jewelry.The class offerings go beyond jewelry and Lapidary to include leather work, basket weaving, and more. I will definitely be back.
The William Holland School of Lapidary Arts was founded in 1983 to allow people from all over the world to come together, study, and learn Lapidary Arts. Lapidary is the practice of shaping stone, minerals, or gemstones into decorative items such as cabochons, engraved gems, and faceted designs Each week of our season starts with check-in at 3:00 PM on Sunday. After supper and a short introduction and orientation session, students settle into their rooms, ready to begin class at 9:00 AM Monday. . By Saturday everyone wants to stay one more week and many have already made plans to join their new friends for next season. Come and rock on our porch in the northeast mountains of Georgia and enjoy the classes we offer.
