This is one of the best experience we have had as a family. Everyone was so nice and experienced. Most of us had never written horses, Everyone was so Understanding. The horses were also gentle, which made for an amazing ride.

4 of us girls spent 3 nights at Brasstown Valley and had a terrific time. Our food was good, our rooms were clean and large, the huge fireplace in the lobby was our spot 2 of the nights. We played games, learned to throw axes!!!!, and had a couple of spa treatments, walked on one of the paths. Overall-- perfect

I had the pleasure of helping photograph Kate and Miles’s wedding at Brasstown Valley Resort and Spa, and it was such a great day from start to finish. They chose the Sunset Terrace for their ceremony, which lives up to its name—sweeping mountain views, and as the sun went down, the entire space was bathed in this gorgeous, warm light that made everything feel magical.
For their reception, they moved to the Sunset Pavilion, an open-air space that keeps the party going while still being right in the heart of those incredible natural surroundings. It was the perfect spot for an intimate but lively celebration, with plenty of space for dancing and mingling. The staff went above and beyond to keep everything running smoothly and really made Kate and Miles feel taken care of. If you’re dreaming of a mountain wedding with a relaxed, open-air vibe and unforgettable views, this venue is a gem.

Stunning! While not there at the “height of color,” what remained of the fall color was amazing! The resort itself is incredibly easy to get to and well marked. Ample parking is available (and free), as well as valet service. If self-parking, the lots are up a hill/incline. There are both “path-style” and stair access points to each parking area. Upon entry, you will be greeted by smiling faces, water/coffee, and a willow branch bear. The lobby is EXACTLY what you want from a mountain retreat: inviting, rustic, relaxing! You can cozy up to the enormous fireplace or enjoy the view from the magnificent “patio”! Anything you could want seems to be available: Lovely dining? Check. Golf? Check. Spa? Swimming? Horseback rides? Check. Check. Check. Hiking? Oh! Ya!! We stayed in room 327, which is on the main level. The room was spacious and included: small dining/desk space, lounging area with sofa, microwave, coffee maker, … The best part?! The balcony, which was complete with rocking chairs! I highly recommend a stay at the resort! From a quick getaway to a romantic getaway to a leisurely vacation, you will not be disappointed!!
Rooms: This was my third trip to the resort. I have NEVER been disappointed in the size, layout, nor cleanliness of the room. I’ve also always had a room with a “rocking chair porch,” which I highly recommend!!
Safety: Each of my hikes were made as a solo female. I felt safe at all times, even in traversing from the parking/cottages at night.
Walkability: I was not here to be able to walk to nearby (off-site) destinations. If that’s what you’re looking for, I’d give BTVR a big, fat zero. However, if it’s scenery and the walkable connection to nature you’re looking for, you’ve hit the jackpot! I hiked every day of my stay, choosing a different route each time. Keeping in mind that I’m in the woods, on a mountain, in the fall, I was watchful of snakes sunning themselves and on the lookout for bear — none of which befell me, lol.

Was here for a work conference. The meeting space was clean and met our needs well. Clean restrooms. Food was good. We didn't stay overnight, so I can't comment on the rooms. A good place to relax.
Safety: I felt safe here.
Walkability: Resort has walking paths, hiking trails, and a golf course.
Food and drinks: The food that they provided for the conference was good and abundant.

Was staying here for a wedding weekend. We stayed in one of the lodges which was very nice. I enjoyed the room having it's own fireplace and all the amenities were fine. We also had access to a common room with another fireplace which was nice. We never had our rooms serviced while we were there for two days. Also, understandably, since my cabin was in a wooded area there were some stink bugs in the room. I was able to clear them out, just be aware, if you have a problem with bugs, a cabin in the woods may not be for you. Food inside the hotel was excellent and the drinks were well balanced. I enjoyed my experience.

Ashley in the restaurant was an absolute angel! My mother was having a tough night with her health and Ashley went ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure she had a wondrous evening. The entire staff was outgoing and amazing. Please ask for Ashley if you want great service and a young lady who will put a smile on everyones faces!!

Walkability: walk ability in this place leaves a little to be desired in terms of strategic elevator location and ADA friendly the design is apparently from long ago where these considerations were not as prevalent
Food and drinks: food was consistently good and tasty
