John, the assistant Manager does not understand customer service in the least!! I rented a trailer because it said it was a 5x9, but when I tried to load my UTV - which is just under 5' - it wouldn't fit because the trailer is actually only 4'9". I immediately returned the trailer because I couldn't use it. When I asked about a credit, John's smartass response was, "did you take it off of my lot?" He had an opportunity to say, "oh no worries I'll credit the $26 back" and he would have made a customer for life - but instead chose to create a situation where I will never rent from U-haul again - all for $26! Way to go John! Avoid this location!!

I went to this Uhaul for a tow hitch install on my Volvo xc60. I paid over $650 for the job. I expected a 1st rate install but was very disappointed. They told me they would not drill a hole thru the floor to snake the wiring. So the wiring had to come out of the rear hatch. How cheesy is that. I know there are several grommets where the spare tire is stored. Every car has them. I called and told them I was disappointed. I escalated to GM as well and asked for some compensation on the wiring labor since I had to redo the wiring. She refused to accommodate and told me to bring it back in and they would snake the wire or bring it back in and they would remove the wiring and credit me back.. But because of their responses for drilling holes I was uncomfortable. I ended up doing it myself and an very happy with the wiring now. It is the way it should have been done. I paid way too much for this install. My family will never use Uhaul at this location. They had a chance to show flexibility and refused to.

They wouldn't have such bad reviews if they didn't discriminate in their hiring practices. Perfectly acceptable candidates are not hired because of age. Maybe they would prefer teenagers only.

They need a new customer service employee or manger. I can not recall his name.. But, he was extremely rude.. when I did not do anything of the sort to cause the reaction he had. Seemed very sexist( I do not claim to be a feminist at all) He seemed very hateful for no reason. Maybe just not a morning person.. I'm a regular customer and I've never had such a traumatizing experience at a business before.. I hope he had a better day. I think it may be possible he needs medical attention because his personality switched very, very intensely

This place does not answer the phone at all! Returned a truck and it says I haven't returned it and is still charging me daily as if I had it. I keep trying to call and I have to wait at least 40 mins to even speak with someone who doesn't help at all. Won't be coming back here , terrible place & customer service.

This U-Haul is located on Highway 92 near at the Hames Road intersection. If you are trying to find the place, look no further than the massive American flag flying...that will direct you right in! We came to this location for the obvious, a truck rental. We had to move some furniture, so we picked up a 15" truck. The truck itself was in overall good shape, with the exception of a minor crack in the windshield that was actually letting water come through as we drove through the rain on the highway. Nothing major, but definitely an annoyance! The location itself is one of the larger U-Haul centers in the area. The store is large and features models of their storage units, a wall for truck accessories, a section of all your packing needs (boxes, tape, etc...) and even a spot for free boxes that were previously used and dropped off/recycled. The store was clean and well laid out. Outside the truck pick up and drop off were well labeled and placed. You pulled through to drop off, someone came out to inspect it and you were on your way. Additionally, this location has propane as an offering. Lastly, one of my least favorite things to do is fill up the gas tank a few miles away and running the risk at being below where you need to be...but not here, as they are located right beside a QT! Overall, solid spot. We had no major issues are service was friendly and quick.

This business has no signage or mask requirements. I felt incredibly uncomfortable today as several customers with no masks were able to enter, run me over in line and then yell at me for me feeling uncomfortable. This business is usually really nice and clean, and I was willing to rent a unit even though I could pay significantly less elsewhere; but I felt so unsafe and left. The person who was at the counter with the army green mask and black hair was very nice and helpful; I appreciated your kindness. The guy behind the counter and not wearing a mask to the right could have stopped and asked the non-mask people to be quiet or leave and to not step out of line and push past me. You could have said something. Too bad this particular U-Haul isn't protecting customers in the time of a pandemic, nor cares to assist when non-maskers are causing a huge problem. It took the two tall male customers with masks on behind me to get the non-maskers to shut up.

Went to the Woodstock location close to my daughter house to fix a lousy tow hitch install from another location. Due to warranty Uhaul covered the reattachment of muffler tips so they were not cockeyed and vibrating against muffler. Logan with a great attitude fixed it all in under an hour. Very pleased with Logans service and can do spirit.

I'm so upset at this facility. I moved to Georgia back in October and I have some stuff shipped down here for $500 I left one of my boxes in North Carolina. I signed up for auto pay because I can be quite forgetful sometimes and I trust this company to automatically take payments out of my account every month and of course let me know if that wasn't happening. Once January hits I get a call that my payment is past due for two months and that I've been charged a $50 Lien fee. The whole purpose of auto pass not be charged fees I don't know what company would let you go to mats and get charged $50 in fees before Carly you. Then the manager spoke with proceeds to tell me how it's my fault because I should've known wow. And then goes to remind me that I've called several times to have my Box taken down and I have not showed up .... so what is this payback??? I've also called several times to have my box taken down and I have showed up and have waited for 30 minutes to get my box accessed so I don't even know the point in calling. But in my defense the traffic down here is horrible so excuse me for being a little misconstrued sometimes and not being able to make it because I don't want to keep your employees there past time to go home. It's OK I will never use U-Haul again even though I have to give a thumbs up to the Hickory facility they seem to have gotten it right there's money back on my car now and they have only charge me the amount that I have missed out on pain down here in Woodstock they're trying to charge me over $200 and I feel like it's so ridiculous because she's ( The manager) is telling me that there's no way for this huge company to return $50 to me or credit my account $50 but she goes to offer me $30. So can you or can't you give me money to credit me. Then she puts me on hold because she chooses me of yelling at her when she won't let me get a word in she was trying to tell me that because my box was in Hickory for Solvang the computer messed up and charge me extra money my boxes been down here since October ma'am then she just got quiet for a moment I'm so upset because I plan on getting my other box shipped down here.... it's a bit convenience to have them do that for me but the way I've been treated and much for the drive to Hickory and bring the stuff myself I won't be giving this company another penny I can't believe I've been treated like this after spending so much money. ..... And what's sad this isn't the first problem or employee with an attitude I've been encountered at the Woodstock facility.... The people in Hickory North Carolina are so nice ....... wish I could say the same for Woodstock.

Poor customer service. My daughter reserved a truck and 2 U-boxes, they didn't honor the truck reservation. Said they would deliver the U-boxes and they were 2 hours late. At their location she overheard others whose reservations were not honored.

I called before driving to this location for propane. The call center said they had 287 gallons at this location. When I arrived and walked in the office there was one customer being helped. There were two other younger employees, a woman and a man, behind the counter. Both of the younger employees were watching a video on a phone. The employee helping the other customer told them to help me. They both walked to the other end of the counter, still watching the video. The young man placed the phone on the counter, video still playing. When I asked about propane he told me they had been out of propane since yesterday but expected a delivery today. This was approximately 11:00 a.m. He did not know when the delivery would arrive. I told him I was told they had 287 gallons when I called. His response was that you cannot trust what the call center tells you. He said to call the store direct. The only problem with this is that they don't answer the phone at the store.
